Ingredients

butter
softened

Instructions
Place ½ cup softened butter and 2 tablespoons milk in a mixing bowl.
Using a hand mixer or the whisk attachment of a stand mixer, mix on low to medium speed for about 2 minutes.
Scrape down the sides of the bowl. Next, increase the speed to high and beat for another 2–3 minutes, until the mixture is fluffy and smooth.
Spoon the whipped butter into an airtight container.
Then it’s ready to serve and enjoy!

Start with Softened Butter
- Room temperature is key for smooth whipping.
Whip Long Enough
- The longer the whip, the lighter the butter. You can use a bowl of a stand mixer or hand mixer.
