This Garlic Parmesan Sauce is creamy, buttery, and packed with flavor! The perfect Parmesan Cream Sauce for wings, pasta, pizza, or dipping breadsticks. An easy homemade sauce recipe you’ll want to put on everything!
In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, melt ¼ cup unsalted butter.
Add 4 minced garlic cloves and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly until fragrant. Do not allow the garlic to brown.
Whisk in ¼ cup all purpose flour and cook until a smooth paste forms.
Slowly stir in 1½ cups vegetable broth or chicken broth.
Add 1 teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon onion powder, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, and 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning. Stir to combine.
Bring the mixture to a low simmer and cook for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in 1 cup heavy cream and ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese.
Stir continuously until the sauce is smooth and fully combined.
Allow the sauce to cool slightly before serving. The sauce will continue to thicken as it cools.
Serve warm over wings or as a dipping sauce and enjoy!

Sauce Consistency - If the sauce feels too thick after cooling, you can thin it out with a tablespoon of warm water or more cream.
Cooking Garlic - Be careful not to overcook the minced garlic, burnt garlic can create a bitter taste.
Type of Butter - I recommend using unsalted butter since the Parmesan is already salted. After tasting, you can adjust the salt to your preference if needed.
