It feels amazing and makes everyone around here think of Spring. I just had to share our favorite Sparkling Crystal Light Recipe – perfect for spring and summer for the kids and for the adults.
We had some Sprite and 7-up that I got for CHEAP on sale. My kids love 7-up, but I wanted something better. All of a sudden, I thought… what if I dumped some Crystal light in there!
I love that you easily make a little or a lot depending on the day. If I just want something refreshing that is easy, it is so easy to grab a Crystal Light packet and make this in seconds.
I mixed it in and the crystal light punch with sprite tasted great! The kids and I deemed it… Fabulous!
I love this idea because you can use different flavors and colors of Crystal light to go with your party themes or the occasions. The kids really enjoyed this special and frugal treat.
If you use diet sprite or diet 7-up, your drink is only 5 calories! Talk about a refreshing twist to plain old crystal light.
If you are trying to watch what you eat, then this is the perfect treat for you. You can also use sparkling water to make it a low calorie drink.

Sparkling Crystal Light recipe
- 16-32 oz 7-up or sprite or diet sprite will work
- 1 Crystal light to go made to mix with 16 oz of water
- Simply mix in your crystal light in with the 7-up. To be honest, I think it still tastes GREAT with 36 ounces or more! That way you are not overwhelmed with the extra flavor.

Awesome idea!!! I wonder if this would work with diet 7 up? I will have to give it a try this summer.
Yes it does. I have done that for me!
I made one just now with Crystal Light Pink Lemonade and a can of Diet 7Up! I also added a little bit of water to tone down the slightly overwhelming sweetness (or else just use less of the Crystal Light mix too). I’ve actually been making this for the last 8 years, when I was diagnosed with type II diabetes. I LOVE fizzy soda but diet soda isn’t overly great either…I did get accustomed to it eventually but adding the Crystal Light just makes any diet soda taste wayyyyy better! I drink it year round too. Just don’t forget to drink mostly plain water throughout the day though so you stay hydrated! I typically make this about a few times a week when I’m craving the dizziness of an ice cold refreshing soda! Plus I love pink lemonade! Enjoy!
