Tiger Butter Fudge is a rich and creamy candy with beautiful swirls. It is made with only 3 easy ingredients so it is the perfect candy to serve for all your holiday parties. It takes less than 5 minutes to prepare and it comes out so beautiful.

We love to make lots of holiday sweet treats for family, friends, and neighbors. This tiger butter fudge is always on the list. I like to stock up on chocolate chips and peanut butter because I know that most of my holiday recipes have these same ingredients.

It is a delicious blend of creamy peanut butter, chocolate chips and vanilla chips all melted together. It is incredibly rich and decadent. Not to mention absolutely gorgeous with those beautiful swirls.

Because the vanilla chips give it a different flavor than normal chocolate fudge. It makes have that creamy color and flavor. You only need a small piece to get the full flavor of all the ingredients.

  • Vanilla Chips 11 oz – You can also use white chocolate chips
  • Creamy Peanut Butter
  • Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips – You can also use milk chocolate chips

How to Make Tiger Butter Fudge

Here’s how you can make your own tiger butter fudge.

Step 1 Prepare Pan – Line a 9×9 glass pan with parchment paper or foil.

Step 2 – Melt Chocolate Chips – Put semi sweet chocolate chips in a small glass bowl. Microwave for 1 minute and stir until smooth. Set aside.

Step 3 – Melt Vanilla Chips – Pour vanilla chips in a separate medium sized glass bowl. Microwave for 1 minute. Stir gently until smooth.

Step 4 – Stir in Peanut Butter – Add ½ cup of peanut butter and stir until well combined and smooth.

Step 5 – Pour vanilla mixture in pan – Pour vanilla-peanut butter mixture into the prepared pan.

Step 6 – Add Melted Chocolate in – Once it’s settled, take the melted semi sweet chocolate and pour it onto the vanilla-peanut butter mixture in lines. Swirl the white chocolate and peanut butter together.

Step 7 – Swirl with Knife – Take a knife and run it the opposite direction of the chocolate lines you created, to achieve a swirl pattern. Run your knife through the mixture as much as you’d like, to create your desired swirl pattern.

Step 8 Cool Fudge – Let cool either on the countertop or in the refrigerator. Pull the foil or parchment paper to remove from the pan,

Step 9 Cut and Serve – Cut the chocolate peanut butter mixture into small squares. Store in an airtight container.

How do you Melt Chocolate in the Microwave?

When preparing you chocolate for melting, make sure you use a microwave safe bowl. Melting chocolate in the microwave is very easy to do, if you do it slowly which prevents it from burning.

Place chocolate chips in the bowl and place in the microwave. Start with heating the chocolate chips for 1 minute. Remove the bowl and stir.

Then continue do this process in intervals until chocolate is melted and smooth. You may even need to reduce the microwave setting to 30 seconds when close to the chocolate is melting.

How to get a nice Swirl throughout the Fudge?

To make the beautiful chocolate swirls throughout the fudge, you can use a sharp knife or toothpick. Once the chocolate has been added to the vanilla peanut butter mixture, then take you knife and move it around the pan. ‘

Don’t over mix it as you want to create that swirl effect.

How long can you keep Fudge:

This Tiger Butter Fudge doesn’t last long in my house. But fudge can last up to 2 months if stored properly. We like to store in an air tight container and place in the refrigerator to keep cool.

Can you Freeze Homemade Fudge?

Yes, homemade fudge can be placed in the freezer if stored properly. Frozen fudge will last about 3 months in the freezer. This is a great option if you would like to begin your holiday baking.

  • Keep fudge free from any air or moisture.
  • Wrap fudge in wax paper completely.
  • Then wrap in aluminum foil or plastic wrap to ensure no freezer burns or no air gets in.
  • Store in the back of the freezer so that it stays the same temperature while in the freezer.
  • When you are ready to serve, remove from freeze and let thaw on the counter for about 2 hours. Serve at room temperature if you prefer.

  • Drizzle the melted chocolate over the top in lines. Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the chocolate into the vanilla mixture to create a marbled pattern.

  • Lift the candy out of the pan using the parchment or foil, then cut into 24 squares.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or refrigerate for longer storage.
