Helpful Tips

  • Freezer Idea – You can also freeze these in individual cups. Then when you are ready to eat, just let them sit on the counter for a few minutes.
  • Add Protein – Blend in a scoop of vanilla protein powder for a post-workout option and to keep your fuller longer.
  • Blender Recommendation – I have a Vitamix and I love it. It is old and is still going on strong. Now, it is quite the investment to get one, but it is one investment that wonโ€™t disappoint. This will be the last blender you ever had to buy. Now if a Vitamix isnโ€™t in your budget, then I recommend a Waring professional blender.

Variations Ideas

  • Tropical Blueberry Smoothie – Add pineapple or mango for a tropical twist.
  • Green Power Smoothie – Add avocado or kale for extra greens.
  • Peanut Butter Blueberry – Add a spoonful of peanut or almond butter for richness.
  • Citrus Boost – Squeeze in some lemon or orange juice for brightness.
  • Add Sweetness – Feel free to blend in a hint of sweetness to taste such as honey, pure maple syrup, or your favorite sweeteners.
