Helpful Tips
- Freezer Idea – You can also freeze these in individual cups. Then when you are ready to eat, just let them sit on the counter for a few minutes.
- Add Protein – Blend in a scoop of vanilla protein powder for a post-workout option and to keep your fuller longer.
- Blender Recommendation – I have a Vitamix and I love it. It is old and is still going on strong. Now, it is quite the investment to get one, but it is one investment that wonโt disappoint. This will be the last blender you ever had to buy. Now if a Vitamix isnโt in your budget, then I recommend a Waring professional blender.
Variations Ideas
- Tropical Blueberry Smoothie – Add pineapple or mango for a tropical twist.
- Green Power Smoothie – Add avocado or kale for extra greens.
- Peanut Butter Blueberry – Add a spoonful of peanut or almond butter for richness.
- Citrus Boost – Squeeze in some lemon or orange juice for brightness.
- Add Sweetness – Feel free to blend in a hint of sweetness to taste such as honey, pure maple syrup, or your favorite sweeteners.
