Recipe Tips

  • Preparing Punch – Give yourself plenty of time. You want to start your sherbet punch about 15-20 minutes before serving it. You want to give it time for the sherbet to melt a little and for the flavors to combine.
  • Scooping Sherbet – Make sure you scoop the sherbet into the punch. I like to scoop it into small scoops so everyone can get a good serving of sherbet in their cup. This is a great ice cream scoop to help you make the best punch.
  • Adding Lemon-Lime Soda – I always buy another 2-liter of lemon lime soda and then I pour it in as the punch goes down. You can make the sherbet last even longer and get double the punch. You know I like to find ways to save money.
  • Use Cold Punch Ingredients – Keeps the punch bubbly and refreshing.
  • Donโ€™t Overmix – Light stirring keeps the fizzy texture.

Variations Ideas

  • Christmas Sherbet Punch – Use red and green sherbet with cranberry juice, pineapple juice or Hawaiian Punch for the perfect holiday celebrations punch.
  • Tropical Punch – Try mango or pineapple sherbet with ginger ale and fruit punch with fresh fruit for the perfect summertime drink.
  • Raspberry Cream Punch – Use raspberry sherbet and pink lemonade for the perfect Valentine’s Day or Bridal Shower drink.
  • Orange Sherbet – Looking for the perfect drink for Halloween, use Orange Sherbet and club soda for amazing flavor.
  • Add Flair – Top with whipped cream or rainbow sprinkles for a festive touch.
  • Adult Version – Add a splash of champagne, vodka or rum for a grown-up twist.

How Long Does Sherbet Punch Last

Itโ€™s best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be refrigerated for up to a day. Cover with plastic wrap when storing in the fridge.
