You are going to love these Valentine’s Day Rolo pretzels! They are a fun twist to the traditional rolo pretzels where you use pretzels, rolos, and m&ms. However, we swapped out the m&m’s for a fun Valentine’s day twist – candied hearts!
I used the traditional candied heart, but the sweet hearts that you find around Valentine’s day would also be very cute. I just love this fun twist, and our entire family loved it too! Take it to your next Valentine’s day party at school, or just enjoy them with your family.
The easiest Valentine’s Day Chocolate Pretzels
Ingredients you need:
Pretzels (I love the square pretzels, but regular ones will work too)
1 bag of rolos
1 bag of candied hearts
How to make Valentine’s Day Rolo Pretzels:
Preheat over to 200 degrees.
On a cookie sheet, lay out the pretzels in a single layer.
Remove all the rolo wrappers (get the kids involved on this one) and place one rolo on top of each pretzel.
Bake in a preheated oven for 3-5 minutes until the rolos glisten but still keep their shape.
Remove from oven and immediately lightly press a candy heart on each rolo pretzel.
Allow to cool completely so they harden. I like to place them in the fridge until completely cooled.
Store in an airtight container.
Remember to change up these Valentine’s Rolo Pretzel Bites by the holiday:
Christmas – use red and green m&ms
Valentines day – use pink and red if you don’t have candied hearts
St Patricks Day – use green m&ms
Fourth of July – use blue and red
Easter – use Easter m&ms
The possibilities are endless! The kids love them but adults do too.
