How to Peel Hard-Boiled Eggs

When your hard-boiled eggs have cooled, they are ready to be peeled. These tips and tricks will help you have a clean peel every time.

  • Cold Water – Place hard-boiled eggs in cold water to stop them from cooking and to easily peel. Keep them in the cold water for about 5 minutes.
  • Roll Egg – After the hard-boiled eggs have cooled, roll them on the counter to crack the shell. This will create large cracks that make the egg easy to peel.
