Ingredients:
- flour
- baking powder
- salt
- butter
- granulated sugar
- eggs
- milk
- vanilla
- mini chocolate chips
- coarse sugar (Optional but so tasty.)
How to make chocolate chip muffins:
First, preheat oven to 375.
Next, spray muffin tins and get the pans ready.
Mix together dry ingredients, flour and salt and set aside.
Now mix melted butter and sugar. Stir until well blended.
Add eggs one at a time and mix wet ingredients together well.
Slowly mix in milk and vanilla.
Gradually add dry ingredients, stirring until it is all mixed in. Just be careful not to over mix.
Mix in chocolate chips.
Fill muffin cups ¾ full. Sprinkle with coarse sugar if using on muffin top.
Bake until lightly golden brown and toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Chocolate Chip Muffins
Ingredients
- 2 3/4 cup flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine melted
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 12 ounce package mini chocolate chips
- coarse sugar optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 F. Spray muffin tray or line with liners.
- Mix together dry ingredients, flour through salt and set aside.
- Mix melted butter and sugars. Stir until well blended.
- Add eggs, one at a time. Mix well.
- Slowly mix it milk and vanilla.
- Gradually add dry ingredients, stirring only until mixed in (do not over mix).
- Mix in chocolate chips.
- Fill muffin cups ¾ full. Sprinkle with coarse sugar, if using.
- Bake 15-18 minutes or until lightly golden brown and knife inserted comes out clean.
- Serve warm.
