Why We Love Making This Veggie Tray
This Christmas Vegetable Tray always puts everyone in the Christmas Spirit. It makes the perfect snack as we are preparing dinner or a centerpiece for our holiday table.

Ingredients
- Broccoli Crowns – Cut into small florets
- Cherry Tomatoes – Grape Tomatoes or Radishes is another great option
- Yellow bell pepper – Cut into thin strips, Red pepper is another great option
- Carrot – Peeled and cut into thin rounds. Baby Carrots can also be used
- Sugar Snap Peas – This is a great addition. Green Beans, Celery or any Green Vegetables would work.
- Cauliflower – Cut into small florets
- Cucumber – Sliced into rounds. We like using English Cucumber because of the smaller size
- Small Star Fruit – Sliced for the tree topper

How to Make Christmas Veggie Tray
Step 1 – On a large rectangular platter, begin arranging the broccoli florets in a triangular Christmas tree shape. Start with a wide base and gradually narrow as you move upward.
Step 2 – Layer cherry tomatoes throughout the broccoli to resemble ornaments on the tree.
Step 3 – Use the yellow bell pepper strips or red bell pepper to create a garland effect, draping them diagonally across the broccoli tree. Place carrot rounds sporadically on the tree to add more color
Step 4 – Fill in any gaps with snap peas and cauliflower florets to give the tree a fuller appearance.
Step 5 – Arrange cucumber slices around the base of the tree to create a tree skirt or tree trunk effect. You can also use stick pretzels.
Step 6 – Place a slice of star fruit at the top of the tree as the star topper. Serve with ranch dressing or your preferred dip in a small dip bowl next to the tree.

- Star Fruit – If you can’t find star fruit, a yellow bell pepper or a slice of pineapple cut into a star shape also works well as a topper. You can also use a bow tie pasta.

Yes, you can easily make this veggie tray ahead of time. Make sure to cover with plastic wrap while storing in the refrigerator. You can also prepare the veggies ahead and place in ziploc bag until ready to prepare this Christmas Vegetable Tray.
We recommend placing the veggie platter out right at the time you are ready to serve. It is best to place back in the fridge after about 2 hours at being at room temperature.
