Expert Tips

  • Star Fruit – If you can’t find star fruit, a yellow bell pepper or a slice of pineapple cut into a star shape also works well as a topper. You can also use a bow tie pasta.
  • Platter – This Christmas Tree Veggie Tray is best served on a large platter. This ensures that you can easily make a large enough Christmas Tree and serve it with a veggie dip.
  • Fresh Vegetables – Anytime I make a vegetable tray for a holiday party, I like to buy the veggies the day before or the day of preparing the tray. This ensures that the vegetables are fresh.
  • Preparing Vegetables – Cut the vegetables into bite size pieces which makes it easy to serve. Cut with a sharp knife and a cutting board for best results
