Charcuterie are so fun to make. This Thanksgiving Turkey Charcuterie Board is loaded with cheese, pepperoni and crackers. With a little creativity this turkey cheese board can come alive.

What Is Charcuterie?
Charcuterie is a french word that references prepared and cured cold meats. It is often paired with cheese, fruits, nuts and crackers when served on a charcuterie board.
Ingredients:
- Ritz Crackers
- Cheddar Cheese Slices
- Salami Slices
- Swiss Cheese Slices
- Pepperoni Slices
- Chocolate Chips
How to Make Thanksgiving Turkey shaped Charcuterie Board:
- Prepare you Serving Platter – Start with a large serving platter. We used a circle serving platter but you can easily use a rectangle platter as well.
- Make Turkey Body – Cut out the turkey body (oval) and head (circle) out of the cheddar cheese and cut a small triangle out of the Swiss cheese for the beak.
- Begin assembling the crackers – Then assemble the tray. Start with the outside row of the turkey feathers. Arrange the crackers in a large half circle around the outer edge of the serving platter.
- Add the Cheddar Cheese – Then arrange the cheddar cheese slices next to the crackers, overlapping them on top of the crackers.
- Layer with Salmi Slices – Then follow this same process with the salami slices, Swiss cheese slices and then the pepperoni slices.
- Add Pepperoni – Make sure that the pepperoni slices fill in the rest of the space.
- Add Turkey Body – Place the turkey body and head in the center of the pepperoni and top the head with the Swiss cheese beak and chocolate chip for the eyes.
Can a Charcuterie Board be Made ahead of time?
This platter is best served fresh so that the cheeses and meats don’t dry out. If you do make the platter ahead of time, make sure to cover it tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate it until ready to serve.
Tips for Making Charcuterie Board:
- Serving Board – To make this Turkey Snack Board we recommend using a round platter.
- Serving – We recommend to prepare to serve immediately. If you make ahead of time, place in the refrigerator.
- Variety of cheese – Use cheese that you prefer, we used cheddar and swiss but any type of cheese will work.
Variation Ideas for Thanksgiving Charcuterie Board Turkey:
- Add Fruit – This meat and cheese board can be changed to add in some fruit. You can use mandarin oranges, strawberries, and grapes. You can also use bell peppers.
- Change the Cheese – Use cheese that you have on hand, but we recommend using high quality meats and cheese for your cheese tray.
- Use different types of crackers with the meat and cheese board. Include gluten free options so all guests can have an option.

How long will Charcuterie Board Last?
We recommend serving the charcuterie board immediately. Once served it will stay good for about 4 hours at room temperature.
