How Long to Cook Frozen Meatballs

Cooking time will vary when making these meatballs in the slow cooker. We usually cook on low for about 5 hours but if you are short on time you can cook on high for about 3 hours.

There is no need to thaw the meatballs before placing in the slow cooker.

Flavor Variations

  • Teriyaki – Substitute the hot sauce with teriyaki sauce for a delicious variation.
  • Soy Sauce – Add in soy sauce to give it that Asian taste. It is a nice touch to this simple recipe. This combination is always a crowd pleaser.
  • Jelly – Mix grape jelly with the hot sauce for a variation to the brown sugar.
  • Chili Sauce – If you would prefer you can use Chili Sauce instead of hot sauce for this recipe. It is usually located with the Asian or ketchup area in your local grocery store.
