- Serving – Green Hot Chocolate is best served warm right after making it. We like to serve in clear glasses to show the green color.
- Crock Pot – When we are serving this hot chocolate to a crowd, we like to make it in the slow cooker.
Variations Ideas:
- Sprinkles – If you are unable to find a jumbo heart sprinkle, you can use red sprinkles.
- Green Candy Melts – Instead of melting white chocolate and using green food coloring, you can melt green candy melts. There are many colors of candy melts and this helps to get that vibrant green color.
- Red Sanding Sugar Rim – Make it even more festive by adding a red sugar to the top of the mug.
- Omit Food Coloring – This white hot chocolate base is great served without the green food coloring too. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles with a candy cane stick for a delicious holiday drink.
- Alcohol – Feel free to add in peppermint schnapps or vodka for the adults.
- White Chocolate – We used white chocolate chips but you can use almond bark or any high quality chocolate.
