If you are like me and love slushies but need a low calorie slushie option, this is the recipe to try. You only need 3 ingredients and it is simple and delicious.
Low calorie slushie
Our family loves slushies on a hot day. They are so refreshing. I love them too but but need a low calorie option.
You can cool off without the calories with this super easy recipe. In fact, it is so easy that you can make it in just minutes.
This is crazy easy with just 3 ingredients. Two of the ingredients are ice and water, so you can’t mess this up!
Even better, each serving has only about 5 calories! Yes, only 5 calories.
I told you it was a low calorie slushie, but you won’t miss all the calories. It is so delicious that no one will even guess it is low calorie.
We used lemonade Crystal Light but you can easily try other flavors. I bet fruit punch or grape would be amazing.
Blenders I recommend:
I have had a Vitamix blender for years and years. It is pricey but it is old and going strong. This blender is tough and made to last.
If you can make it work in your budget, I definitely recommend the Vitamix for sure.
Now, I also like the Ninja blender and it gets great reviews. This is a less expensive option and it will get the job done if the Vitamix isn’t in the budget right now.
You can’t go wrong with either option.
- cold water
- Crystal light
- Fresh Lemon
How to make a low calorie slushie:
First, put the ingredients in the blender. Easy!
Second, just blend everything together until it is smooth.
Finally, pour the slushie into glasses and enjoy. You can serve with a straw or spoon.
I like to top each glass with a lemon slice. This is optional but looks really pretty.
Crystal light slush is frugal.
Now you can even enjoy a Summer drink with your kids without all the extra calories. This comes to only 5 calories per serving. This should make 4 nice size servings.
Your kids will also like these kool aid slushies. They taste just as yummy as the ones you buy but at a fraction of the cost. Plus, it’s so convenient being able to make these delicious slushies at home.
I love being able to make yummy drinks at home. They save us money and time because I can whip them up in literally minutes.
They cost a fraction of the price of store bought. The slushie recipe is so easy that I can make these in less time than going to the store to buy one.
Everyone will love this skinny slushy.
This easy slushie recipe is low calorie and nearly no calorie. It is super easy to make and really refreshing.
You will love having a recipe to quench your thirst and beat the heat. Now, whenever the kids want a slushie, I have a tasty alternative too.
It doesn’t get any easier than this. Plus, it is really delicious. I mean really tasty!
I actually prefer these to buying slushies now. They are perfectly blended and the flavor is just right. So good!

Crystal light~ you mentioned not to use the single-serve packets, do you mean that one should use the pitcher size packets instead?
Yes, I use 1/2 of the packets that are used to make a pitcher size of Crystal light. Enjoy!
