Chocolate and Peanut Butter are my favorite combination when it comes to dessert. This recipe combines my favorites including cream cheese and whipped topping. To make an easy old fashioned peanut butter pie no bake dessert recipe.

The peanut butter flavor, fluffy texture and easy to make pie makes this dessert perfect for any occasion. We love the finishing touches of the mini peanut butter cups.

This pie has the perfect amount of peanut butter and chocolate. It is no wonder that the lightness texture of the peanut butter filling literally melts in your mouth.

No bake desserts are my favorite to make. They are crowd pleaser and great for any occasion. What is to love about this No Bake Dessert Recipe:

  • No-Bake Pie – We love the ease of using a graham cracker pie crust
  • Minimal Ingredients – Easy ingredients and Simple process means less time measuring and preparing the pie.

Ingredients:

  • Graham Cracker Pie Crust
  • Cream Cheese
  • Confectioners Sugar
  • Creamy Peanut Butter
  • Whipped Topping
  • Mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
  • Hershey’s Syrup

How to make No Bake Peanut Butter Pie Recipe:

  • Beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and peanut butter together until smooth in a medium mixing bowl.

  • Fold in the whipped topping with a spatula.
  • Spoon peanut butter pie filling over the graham cracker crust or a pie plate.

Why is my No Bake Pie Runny?

This can happen when to much liquid has been added. It also happens when the pie is not refrigerated long enough therefore it hasn’t set.

Make sure you are using the right cream cheese also. This recipe calls for the block cream cheese not the whipped cream cheese.

Tips for the best No Bake Peanut Butter Pie:

  • Crust Variations – We used a graham cracker pre-made crust but you can easily make your own Homemade Pie Crust in about 15 minutes. This pie would also be good with a Chocolate Graham Cracker Crust.
  • Double the Recipe – You can easily double this recipe and place into two pies. You can also put in a 9×13 pan.
  • Make sure to Chill – Make sure to allow the pie to chill for two hours. This allows the ingredients to set and to easily cut the pie.
  • Use Cold Candy – I like to place the mini peanut butter cups in the refrigerator or freeze prior to putting them on the pie.
  • Use Creamy Peanut Butter – Make sure when preparing this pie, that you use creamy peanut butter. Peter Pan is our favorite to use.

Can you freeze a No Bake Pie?

Yes, a no bake pie is easy to freeze. This is a great pie to prepare ahead of time and then top with your favorite toppings.

All you need to do is wrap in saran wrap and then I like to wrap with foil to prevent freezer burns. To serve, just set it out and thaw naturally and cut and serve.

How long will Peanut Butter Pie last in the fridge?

Since the peanut butter pie has whipped topping as one of its ingredients, it will need to be refrigerator. It will last about 3 to 4 days in the refrigerator. Then the crust will begin to get a little soggy.
