Absolutely delicious! Rightout of the microwave, this has the feel, texture ,and taste of a pop over almost. I had no problem with salt because I just didn’t add salt and used salted butter.

I’m on keto and had a craving for a tuna melt and this worked perfectly! Now I’m thinking of other ways I can use this delicious find. Maybe I’ll have a peanut butter sandwich for an afternoon snack ?

  2. 5 stars
This is great. I am going to use these for hamburger Buns. Something I really miss on this Keto Diet.

  3. 4 stars
Great texture. I wish I had read the comments prior to making as like everyone else, this is way too salty and I love salt! It was so salty that I struggled to finish it as I hate wasting food. Highly recommend not adding the salt or adding less. Next time I will omit the salt entirely. Great recipe otherwise.

  4. Yes you can freeze it. You can freeze it for up to 3 months. Or it will stay fresh up to 5 days in your refrigerator. Thank you

  5. Can i make ahead and freeze or keep refrigerated? If so, how long is it good for?
    Thank you

I thought this recipe was easy and tasty, especially since you’re trying to not have bread, but I also tried something else everyone should know, I put a little butter on one and some real maple syrup And it tasted just like a pancake delicious So this is perfect if you have a little sweet tooth.

  7. 5 stars
Works every time and easy to mix with like playing around with other protein flours or seed flours !!

  8. Does a glass bowl have to be used? I don’t have any and the closest thing I have to that size/ shape is a plastic bowl.

  9. Hey looking forward to trying 90 sec bread. It says it makes 2 servings. So just one half of the bread is represented in the nutrition section? Or is it for the full recipe?

  10. 5 stars
Love this! I omit the salt completely. I love salt, but with various spreads & cheeses, salt is just too much. I also subbed 1/2 T olive oil for the butter – and it works great : )

  11. 5 stars
Love this. I added a Tbsp of flax seed,a tbsp of chia seeds and a tbsp of hemp heart to this and it i s great. Definitely helps when you are missing bread on keto

  12. 5 stars
Accidentally used coconut flour (brand Elan). Made sure I nicely flattened it at the top and stopped it from puffing up in the middle while cooking in the microwave. Then I toasted it and it was one of best, easiest and closest to bread I tasted in all my keto years. Just added a pinch of salt. Even 1/8 of tea spoon in the almond flour recipe was too salty for me. Great recipe !

OMG. Thank you for saving me from breaking my diet by going back to Bread. In heaven now I have found your recipe. Tastes great, quick and easy to make. No now I can go to work with a full stomach with out guilt or cares ?.

  15. 5 stars
Easy and delicious. Tried it different ways but I prefer it as is and with unsalted butter. I sliced in thirds, toasted in the toaster and made a delicious bacon, avocado and tomato sandwich paired with a mug of soup. Fantastic!

  16. 5 stars
I tried this recipe almost a year ago after “discovering” it here, and man, oh man, I have to say that I really, REALLY like it!!
I’m not fan of traditional breads for whatever reason–just don’t much enjoy yeast-raised products, I guess—but I sure do like this. I never make more than one because I don’t want to get tired of eating it/them, but if I do want more, it’s so easy to whip up another one. I especially like eating it split, toasted, and then one fried egg on top of each half. YUM!!

  17. 5 stars
The best quick bread I’ve ever had I did go a little too far with the salt bc I make an egg and cheese breakfast!

  18. 5 stars
Easy and tasty. We don’t have a microwave so it’s 10-minute bread for me. I use a “muffin top” pan and divide the batter between 2.

  19. 5 stars
This was very tasty. I added 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon and 2 teaspoons of allulose. I left out the salt. Fried the slices in a little butter and topped with keto maple syrup. Totally satisfied my French toast craving! I’m going to try a savory version of cheesy garlic bread. Thanks!

  20. 5 stars
I just finished eating this as a sandwich. This was very yummy, no “eggy” taste at all. Only change I’ll have to make is not to use any additional salt.
What I did was nuke one egg ( poking the yolk first) & nuked that for 42 seconds in a slightly buttered dish the same size as the bowl for the bread.
I did have to nuke the bread for more than 90 seconds as the microwave is only 1,000 watts. The bread didn’t appear to be quite done was the other reason for adding to the cook time.
Thank You for posting this. It’s a winner. Can’t wait to try other foods with this. One of them will be a Keto “Sloppy Joe” mix.

I love this recipe. It’s a daily breakfast staple. I eliminate the salt, add a tbsp of grated parmesan, and a couple tbsps of cream cheese and cook it about 10-12 seconds longer (I have a 1000 watt microwave). The cream cheese makes it a little smoother and I like the flavor of the additions. I often eat it with a little fresh spaghetti sauce, salsa or pico on top. It’s my favorite!

  22. 5 stars
Trying to cut carbs so used this recipe to replace garlic toast. After cutting in half , I toasted with butter and garlic salt in an airfryer. I then added mozzarella cheese and put back in the airfryer to melt and brown the cheese. Will definitely be making this again

  23. 5 stars
Really good recipe! ?? I omitted the salt because I hardly use it.
Question regarding the nutritional info on this. It says 2 servings and 142 calories. Is that for the whole piece or 142 cals for half? Thanks a bunch

  24. 5 stars
Made this bread and I love it! I toast it in toaster and use as an English muffin with cream cheese and veg on ut and it’s delicious

  25. 5 stars
I have been using this recipe for years. Never found one I like better. Sometimes I do add some flax seed to it to add some fiber.

  26. 5 stars
Tasted like a pancake to us, but tasty. I apparently do not have the right size glass dish to make this in, yet we enjoyed it – did your suggestion to fry in skillet a tax with butter. Your photo looks like perfectly formed english muffins, no way did ours look this way. I’d suggest to most people to use a less salt!

  27. The Best Keto Biscuit I have had! I need to remember to cut back on the salt since I use salted butter. The first time I had it with cheese and garlic. Tonight I wanted a fruit spread on it so I left those out. Thank You!

  28. 5 stars
This was amazing !!!! I’m new to keto cooking for my husband, and was extremely skeptical . I’ve tried a few recipes that just didn’t work out or taste that great. This was really good and so simple to make with endless possibilities. Thank you so much.

  29. Can I use coconut or oat flour instead of almond flour? Since I am allergic to nuts and rice.

  30. I haven’t tried it but I would think it would work. Come back and let us know how it works.

  31. 5 stars
I love having this as an option for bread with my low carb meals. I add some fiesta blend shredded cheese and diced jalapeños and it tastes like Mexican cornbread!

  32. 5 stars
Oh my gosh Carrie these are so good! I made them and used them as pancakes with some peanut butter and syrup and I feel like I’m cheating! Thank you so much for this recipe I shared it on Instagram and tagged you I look forward to trying more of your keto recipes!

  33. You would want to cook it longer if you are 3x the recipe and putting it in one container.

  34. 5 stars
Made this your way came out great. I used a frying pan as I do not have a toaster Then made one but added 1/4 tsp Dutch Trade Speculaas spice blend from Boston Spice and wow! Also tried adding some Little Italy Italian dry spice to the butter as I melted it to start the Italian flavors flowing and that one was great too. I used 1/4 tsp kosher salt instead of table salt. Table salt will be to salty in this recipe. Clearly a winning recipe. Thank you

  35. This is a game changer for keto diets. My husband loves this..so do I. thank you so so much for this recipe..?

  36. 4 stars
It was very good except it was too salty for my taste. Next time I’ll make it without the salt.

  37. Made this awhile ago, came out great. However, way too salty. Will add a pinch the next time I make it.

  38. This is a delicious alternative to bread. Very tasty toasted or used for a grilled cheese sandwich. I plan to use it for a breakfast sandwich with sausage and egg soon.

My question is how do you store this bread? Can it be frozen? Or is it just kept at room temperature in a container? This would be helpful to know if I would choose to make multiple pieces of bread at a time.

    For this amazing recipe!

  39. 5 stars
Just tried this and it’s just enough for 2
    We enjoyed it
I used sr flour cause that’s what I had on hand

  40. 5 stars
I mixed the recipe ingredients then added 1/4 tsp Pasta Herb Spice Blend by the Gourmet Collection.
Microwave for 90 sec, sliced like recommended, then toasted. Excellent!
I’ll be making this again and again!

  41. 4 stars
I made it and everything was good but it’s way too salty. Will make it again omiting the salt.

  42. 5 stars
I used this recipe minus the salt and added 1 1/2 tbs monkfruit sweetener, 1 tbs cocoa powder, 1 tsp vanilla extract. Made a wonderful chocolate cake!

  43. The carbs are stated at the bottom of the recipe card including all nutritional information.

  44. This was my first keto bread attempt. I followed the other comments and reduced the salt by half and replaced the butter with ghee and it was perfect. Definitely a different texture but works great as a replacement for traditional bread. I toasted in a pan used it as a base for some scrambled eggs with spinach and goat cheese with a little guacamole and salsa on top. Delicious!

  45. 5 stars
    Really good, dast and easy

It was a little too salty for me. Next time I will try 1/8 tsp & continue to reduce until I find the right amount for my taste.

I sliced & placed mine in the toaster. Ummm, so good & toasted perfectly!

Question: Would this be as once a day item on the KETO Menu? I’m now interested in learning the basics of a Keto lifestyle and need perspective. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

  46. 5 stars
I was making this recipe for the first time today when I realized I didn’t have any baking powder, so I substituted apple cider vinegar and it turned out GREAT! Thank you for sharing this little gem.

  47. 4 stars
Been eating Keto for only a couple of weeks, and for the most part I’m doing okay. Was getting tired of eggs for breakfast. Tried this recipe and am totally amazed. It toasted well and didn’t fall apart. Made a sandwich. Yummy. I miss bread. Can’t wait to try this for breakfast with peanut butter. cooked it in a round bowl and it came out like an English muffin. Loved it. Thank you.

  48. 5 stars
The bread is great! I did have to change the salt from 1/4 tsp to a pinch. Otherwise it was awesome and just the right texture for a breakfast sandwich or anything that calls for bread.

  49. 5 stars
I love this recipe! It’s definitely a bit eggy. I made French toast with it the next time and it was like heaven. I’ll try grilled cheese next!

  50. 5 stars
I love this recipe closest one to an English muffin that I’ve found. I add garlic salt or everything bagel seasoning to the mix.? when it’s cooked I cut it in half, smash it flatter then brown each side . Today mine has one egg, sausage and a little mustard. Yummy.

  51. Thankyou for sharing this recipe. This bread is super easy super quick and super yummy as is or fried. I sprinkled a bit of paprika on the top with a poached egg. Delicious! We are having bacon and vegetable soup tonight and we will be having this bread with it too. Yum!

  52. 5 stars
This was great! Do not use salted butter

This was all I had on hand, but it will be too salty!

I topped mine with a poached egg and it was

    Delicious!

  53. Love it. Tried it this morning, simple, quick and before work fresh arvo and tomatoes sprinkled with thyme…delicious!

  54. 5 stars
WOW.. I’m not even Keto.. just gave up wheat 4 yrs ago and came across this recipe on Pinterest.. OMG I LOVED THIS RECIPE! I had an egg sandwich for the first time in 4 yrs. First off I used less salt because of the reviews and I wish I used the amount suggested. This was soooo easy to make and frying it was perfect. I will definitely make this again when craving a sandwich of any kind; Heck I may even try it as a hamburger bun as well and add some garlic or onion powder to it. Thank you!!!

  55. 5 stars
This is THE best treat! I also think it needs less salt, but this is exactly what I’ll enjoy with my herbal loose leaf tea. I’ll be following you on IG ? Wish I could share a photo!!

  56. 5 stars
My 1st time it was dry, my fault, I left out the butter. I thought it was an option and since I was making garlic toast, I waited. After the butter had soaked in, it was great. I made it again this morning, much better and had it with cream cheese. I do only use a pinch of salt after reading other comments and I think it’s better that way. Thanks for the recipe!

  57. Oh my goodness! This was the first time I’ve enjoyed a 90 second bread!!! It was MAGIC!

  58. I have made this several times and it was good but I wanted to make it and didn’t have an egg, so I used flax seed as a egg substitute and it was great. I might start using it instead of an egg or when I run out from now on. This is the first time I have left a comment.

  59. This is a keeper. I’ve had it toasted and untoasted. Toasted is way better. Will definitely make again.

  60. I’ve tried this bread several times now and it is good toasted with peanut butter or as a grilled cheese sandwich. I used regular salted butter and no additional salt and decreased the baking powder to 1/8 teaspoon. I’ve used both blanched and unblanched almond flour/meal. Even my husband (who does NOT jump onto diet bandwagons) rather grudgingly admits that it is really “quite good.”

  61. 5 stars
The texture and taste came out great. If you are also low sodium, don’t miss the not about decreasing the salt (like I did hahaha). Definitely a keeper. Great size for breakfast sandwich and toasts beautifully.

  62. Tried this for dinner tonight, found that we liked the texture, more like an English muffin, if you let the bowl sit for 90 seconds then nuke it, it will have little air pockets! Mmmm

  63. I made this as is. Good texture but very salty. I will make again but reduce the salt and maybe add some stevia for breakfast or garlic powder for a dinner roll. The spread will be great for bacon egg and cheese sandwich, grilled cheese, there anything you choose an English muffin for.

  64. 5 stars
This makes two perfect little chaffle/waffles! I liked it baked as a waffle better than cooking in the microwave! I’m thinking it would be great as a pancake mix! Yummy!
I also added a little Splenda and cinnamon and it’s delicious! No salt.

  65. 5 stars
Thank you, thank you, thank you! This is the BEST Keto bread I’ve had. I’ve tried other 90-second breads and they were always very dry. This is nice and fluffy. I actually forgot it was Keto! Thank you again!

  66. 5 stars
I rarely leave comments, but this one is worth commenting on. I had tried other recipes and the results were inedible cardboard box sponge slices. This recipe actually tastes like bread, and is not overpowered by egg like the others. Tastes a bit like a whole wheat grain bread with the almond flour. Excellent! Ps I toasted mine afterwards and would highly recommend.

  67. Made it in a rectangle pan, cut in strips, dunked in eggs and milk. Made into french toast and topped with SF syrup and SF powdered sugar. Delicious!

  68. I’ve been collecting Keto recipes for about a year now, this looks easy and amazing! Gonna def try tomorrow!

  69. 5 stars
This was so fast and easy, and delicious! I used the same pyrex bowl you did and it was the perfect size! Then I toasted it in a pan til golden and made a fried egg sandwich. I am going to prepackage the dry ingredients so I can just grab a pack and add the egg and butter. I’m finally going to have sandwiches again!

  70. This is such a great recipe, sending it to my daughter who was told to go on Keto diet for health and so wanted to forward this to her, thank you so much.

  71. 5 stars
This is the BEST keto bread I have ever eaten! I made it in smaller containers (approximately the size of an English muffin). After microwaving, I sliced horizontally, topped with old cheddar and pan fried both sides. A perfect foundation for a delicious keto bacon and egg sandwich! The bread was actually DRY and appears “toasted”!!! Definitely a keeper… ? THANK YOU!!!

  72. All I can say is YUM. I added garlic powder and reduced the salt based on previous comments. I toasted it in a pan and It tasted like cornbread. I put some cheese on it and it was good!

  73. I always find this bread reminds me of French toast. So I added a tsp of monk fruit sweetener, 1/4 tsp cinnamon and after it was cooked I fried it in butter. Yep french toast y’all…Smothered in sugar free syrup and lots of raspberries…Mmmmmm! Delish

  74. Sorry, I haven’t tested that yet so I’m not sure. I think that you would have to adjust the entire recipe as you can’t substitute coconut flour for almond flour 1:1 in recipes.

  75. 5 stars
I tried this recipe for the first time this morning and all three of us girls loved it! Toasting the bread made it awesome! Felt good eating something so tasty that’s low carb!

  76. 5 stars
I found this recipe last night, and made it this morning. it is a keeper for sure, it was so good. made it as directed, split in half and toasted one side of each, then added shredded cheese in the middle, then toasted the other sides(as you would in making grilled cheese). so good, will be doing this again with many vaiations. thank you.

  77. Sorry, this recipe is only for the microwave. I haven’t tested in an oven so I’m not sure on the cook time.

  78. I don,t have and use a microwave. So how long and at what temperature in the Oven ?
I am really looking forward to make this recipe.
    The reviews are very positive

  79. 5 stars
This was so easy to make and delish!! I toasted the bread and made open faced meatball sandwiches for dinner, my husband loved it. I added some onion powder and they tasted like an onion roll. I found a 4″ square glass covered dish and it was perfect. Looked like a real piece of bread. Thank you

  80. 5 stars
So super easy and ingredients are super easy to get ahold of. I wanted to try this on a whim and it took no time at all. The texture and taste was surprisingly great. My picky husband could eat these without any issue (except for how salty they were, and a lot of salt doesn’t usually bother him). Only complaint is that they are SOOO SALTY. Will definitely be decreasing amount of salt in the future, but this will be my go to for quick keto bread.

  81. 5 stars
Made for the first time just now. Wow. So easy. I used bob mills gluten free flour. Turned out perfect. Toasted on iron skillet. Added bacon jam and a poached egg on top. Perfect. Thank you so much for this great recipe.

  82. 5 stars
This is the best tasting and easiest keto bread recipe that I’ve tried! As others mentioned, it was a little salty for me, but that’s an easy adjustment.

  83. Can I substitute with Coconut flour? I’m allergic to nuts and can’t use almond flour. I’m excited to try this recipe!

  84. 5 stars
Made them exactly as the recipe stated. 10 stars! The next day added rosemary and chives. Another 10 stars! Wonderful discovery and yes, definitely satisfies my bread cravings.

Totally amazing! I’m very picky with textures. Reduced salt to 1/8 tsp, made as indicated. Toasted in pan with a little bit of unsalted butter. Had with ham, egg, and cheese. Delicious, can’t wait to try it with other toppings.

  86. 5 stars
I did this exactly as stated – and it was WONDERFUL. I don’t like eggy taste or smell, and I almost thought I had failed as I smelled eggs when I opened the microwave. But the taste isn’t very eggy at all – in fact I couldn’t taste egg, my friend could barely taste it. WONDERFUL right out of the microwave with butter. I toasted mine in a toaster and it was still fluffy, but lovely and toasted where it was supposed to be. THANK YOU for this great recipe!

Tried this for lunch today and I’m impressed! Followed directions and ingredients exactly and wow! I used it as a ‘bun’ for my cheeseburger, it held up perfectly with my burger, with cheddar, 2 slices of tomato, a slice of sweet .onion, grainy mustard, pickle slices, and a leaf of lettuce!

This will keep me from craving bread for sure! Yum!

  88. I am one of the follower of your blog and found great content on your website. Keep up the good work

  89. 5 stars
These are delicious! Only thing is that they were way too salty for me like a few others posted. That won’t stop me from giving this 5 stars since it’s overall great. I just wanted something quick and easy for my tuna egg salad and this was better than keto bread substitutes I’ve spent much more time on. I’ll definitely make this again with less salt and a little garlic powder for a savory bread.

  90. 5 stars
This is great! I don’t add the salt but use salted butter instead. I made this with cinnamon (For breakfast) and another with garlic (for Bacon lettuce sandwich), both were outstanding! I am not a big fan of eggs, which has made keto difficult but this really doesn’t taste like eggs to me. Toddler approved too! Thank you for sharing this recipe ??

  91. 5 stars
The most Indian people doing the keto diet miss pieces of bread that’s why this recipe is like a blessing for them. But I think this recipe can only be taken for a change not as a regular option.

  92. Yiiiiiiiiipppppeeeee
Made this with LSA flour (linseed, sunflower seed and almond) in a very small rectangular casserole glass dish which gives it a lovely loaf shape – it was 100% yum! and I haven’t tried it toasted yet!
    Next comes experimenting!!!
Thank you – first time I’ve had bread that is not like sawdust since starting keto cut it thick but could do thin too when cooled ?

  93. I haven’t tried it yet but I think it would work. If you try it out, please let us know how it works out!

  94. Just came across this recipe.
You think ghee would work as well as regular butter?

  95. I haven’t tried that yet so I’m not sure – If you try it out, please let us know how it works!

  96. I was wondering if you could substitute flaxseed for the egg would it turn out the same.
    thanks

  97. Carol – I’m so glad you enjoyed this recipe! I haven’t tested quadrupling the recipe yet so I’m not sure if that would work or not. If you try it out, please let us know how it turns out. Thank you!

  98. 5 stars
I love this bread and I’ve shared it with all of my friends !!! My question is, can you quadruple this recipe and make it in a small glass loaf pan? If so, how would you adjust the ingredients if necessary? I am so impressed ( I just discovered you) with this bread that I am going to dive into all of your recipes for more delicious things to make !!! VERY GOOD JOB, CARRIE !!!

  99. Love this! I haven’t had bread for so long, and this totally satisfied the craving. Will make again, for sure!!

  100. Carolyn – I haven’t had this issue before. It does sound like it’s overcooking in that area. I agree with reducing the cook time. You can also try covering the bowl with a damp paper towel and that might help absorb the excess heat and prevent the hard spots. If you try it out, please come back and let me know how it worked! Thank you.

  101. Everytime I make this, one spot turns out hard and I have to cut it off. I tried using only 70 seconds and it helped a bit. Any suggestions to fix this?

  102. 5 stars
Thank you sooooo much for posting this recipe. I have celiac and having this with my breakfast a few times a week has been wonderful. It is fast, easy and very tasty. I do toast it after cooking and changed the amount of salt to a pinch….

  103. 3 weeks in and I miss bread SO much, I was on the edge of cheating. But I already enjoyed the initial water-weight loss and I’m determined. PLUS this recipe saved me. I fried it with butter after microwaving and it was SO good. Lol. I needed that. It really satisfied the craving I was feeling. Thank you! So easy and added reasonably to my carb count for the day.

  104. I miss having bread to go with my over easy eggs, so I tried this. I barely passed the salt shaker over it, so it wasn’t too salty. I recently broke both the small bowls that would have been perfect, so I used a cereal bowl and it worked fine but next time I’ll only use half of it and freeze half. I’m not a fan of the eggy taste, but it’s better than no bread to eat with my eggs! Texture was perfect. I’m thinking I’ll try a sweet version with some monk fruit or stevia and cinnamon. Thank you for this recipe. I think it will help me stick to my diet, as breakfast will be more satisfying.

  105. I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and I hope you check out some of my other recipes and let me know what you think!

  106. 5 stars
Thank you for the recipe!! I made it with walnut flour (ran out of almond flour), it came out wonderfully soft and delicious. Made a sandwich with cheese, salami, and baby kale. Delicious!! Thanks again. Now I am curious about your other recipes>

  107. Almost never a breakfast without this lovely bread! My husband demands
It. And I also love it ….. thank You so very much….

  108. 4 stars
I did not read the blog before making this so did not see the note about using just a pinch of salt. I just jumped to the recipe and made it using the ¼ teaspoon salt as instructed. That is way too much salt (a pinch would be much better). I will try this again as I like the concept.

  109. I haven’t tried it but I think it might work. I would only use 1 TBSP of coconut flour and add a small amount of water to the recipe as well. Let us know how it turns out!

  110. Thank you for sharing, I made this morning and it was great toasted. I entered in the ingredients into my fitness pal and came up with a much higher calorie count, 309 to be exact. Not sure if I am entering something incorrectly that you have? Butter is 100, egg- 72, almond flour-120, calorie. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks

  111. 5 stars
This was one of the easiest recipes, I have found. Not only was it quick to make but it was really good!!! Will definitely make again and again. THANK YOU SO MUCH SO SHARING!!!

  112. Has anyone tried using the flaxseed egg substitute instead of real eggs or egg substitutes? I spent 3 hours trying to make bread for my daughter this weekend and it never rose and turned out like a flat brick!

  113. These are absolutely amazing!!!! I am a pastry chef and the ideology of microwaving a baked good let alone bread substitute makes me cringe. The quality of this bun in terms of crumb texture, moisture and flavour blows my mind. I added some fresh, chopped basil, parsley, garlic, olive oil and parmesan cheese and used it as a mini pizza base. I also made one with half the salt, added 2 tsp. swerve ‘0 calorie’ sweetener, cinnamon, 1 tbsp. chopped pecans and topped with Swerve icing sugar glace, omg it tasted in between a coffee cake and muffin. These were all for my diabetic husband I am a high carb, low fat girl but this actually had me thinking I wish I wasn’t, honestly an amazing recipe!!!!! I am testing another version of this recipe to make a chocolate cake, using some coconut flour and cocoa powder, coconut oil and sugar free chocolate chips. The possibilities with this recipe is endless;)

  114. Made this today it was easy pest but a little dry, I use olive oil not butter.
Must be a way to make it moist. Came out just like the picture, but smelt like egg I will try it again but less egg or more almond flour to one egg.

  115. Agreed on salt..reduced. But if you’re hydrating a lot on keto, it suggests that you do add salt to your foods so it wasn’t an extreme reduction.
I added the 1 tbl butter to the mixture before microwaving. Nice butter taste.
Consistency when it came out of the bowl was spongey. Didn’t like it, so I fried it in a pan with more butter and a smidge of olive oil. It browned it and dried it out to a more crispy, crunchy “bread”.
I love avocado and since keto recommends it as a healthy source of fat, I spread it over the bread.
Result was that I honestly felt like I was cheating on my keto carb plan.

    Meaning, it was stinking delicious.

Easy, no guilt and this will be a nice addition to my meal plans.

  116. I doubled everything (except only used 1 egg), spread+ in a 5 x 7 casserole dish (you might have to microwave 30-60+ sec. longer); then toasted in the toaster oven, and finally melted a little mayo and cheese on top — YUM! Can also add garlic, minced onions, etc. for different flavors before microwaving. Now a go-to fav — thanks!!

  117. Made this today. After reading some different reviews I just cut the salt to 1/8 instead of 1/4. Some have omitted….you can’t do that and expect good results in my personal opinion. I agree with another reviewer that said it was eggy like. But the taste was amazing. I cut it in half. Toasted it on stove top. Put a little butter on with some sriracha and hard cooked egg. Handed it to my husband and he ate it super fast. He liked it a lot. So now it’s in my Arsenal of recipes. Loved it. Will make again. Maybe putting herbs and other things with mix. It’s fun.

  118. 5 stars
Made it in a large mug, then toasted it for a tuna salad sandwich. So good!! Can’t wait to use this for a hamburger roll!!

  119. 5 stars
I honestly was skeptical of this recipe,..but I can tell you I will make often. It reminds me of corn bread. I toasted it lightly in a skillet in a paper-thin slice of butter. Can’t wait to make it again!!

  120. Thanks for getting back to me Carrie. I will make some more tests with other egg substitutes, once I restock.

  121. 4 stars
It worked. I couldn’t believe how fast it was and how much it looked like real bread once I cut it in half. Unfortunately I didn’t like the taste and the smell much (too eggy). After the first one I thought I’d give some egg substitutes a try and they all failed miserably. Is there a way to do this without using an egg?

  122. 5 stars
Sooooo good! Cut the biscuit in half and added butter cinnamon and monk fruit sugar. AMAZING!!

  123. 5 stars
This was so easy and tasty. After reading many comments about salt, I left it out since I used salted butter. Delish!

  124. Made this receipe as instructed the first time way to salty. Left out salt completely the next time still to salty. Substituted butter (that has salt in it) with olive oil. Still a little to much of a salt taste buying salt free baking soda because regular has 95mg of salt for 1/8 tsp. Going to try till I get the taste I want because the texture is perfect.

  125. Only 1 egg is needed in this recipe. The egg yolk break slightly making it look like 2 in the video but it’s just 1. Thanks!

  126. LOVED the bread, especially with your tip of adding two tablespoons of cheese. That gave it just the kick I needed. But a quarter teaspoon salt is way way too much! An eighth of a teaspoon would be plenty.

  127. For anyone craving muffins, I played with the recipe a bit and came up with something that let me have my favorite – cranberry muffin – while still staying keto. I increased the almond flour to 4 tablespoons, added 1 tablespoon of monkfruit sweetener, and chopped about 1/8th cup of cranberries. Used the same method, and voila! A (large), and delicious cranberry muffin!

  128. 5 stars
Thanks for this recipe. I made it as indicated with a little less salt. You say this is for 2 servings and I think you’re right. It was surprisingly very filling! Delicious; probably great with jam also.

  129. My wife hates eggs and breakfast.

    Keto just got easier.

Delicious ,decadent with mixed berry top.

    Many thanks.

The information is very special, I will have to follow you, the information you bring is very real, reflecting correctly and objectively, it is very useful for society to grow together.

  131. Tried this recipe tonight to have with our burgers and it was a hit. My husband really liked it. I need to find substitutes for some of my usual carbohydrates while on keto and I am so happy to have found your recipe. It tasted great! My only adjustment to the recipe was to add less salt. So easy and yummy! Thank you!

  132. 5 stars
Tasted great! Used it as a substitute for my English muffin egg white sandwich. I did not use salt though. Thank you for the recipe ?

  133. I’m not sure as I haven’t tried that before. If you try it, let me know if it works out. Thank you!

  134. Looks interesting?! Concerned about the egg in it being cooked throughly? Is that or any other health concern I should know about?? Thanks, Mary

  135. This is a game changer, so easy and fast and delicious. Thank you for this, you have made Keto so much easier.

  136. 4 stars
It was very easy and tasty. I had been missing fried egg and avocado toast. Would probably make this again.

  137. 5 stars
Okay, I have to admit, I was little skeptical, but I am impressed! My plan was to use these as an English muffin, but since I added some cheese/garlic powder/Italian herbs to the recipe, I just put some roasted tomatoes and Candian bacon on them. I was only going to eat one and save the other half, but I went back for seconds. Even more impressive, this will be PERFECT for the RV microwave. Thank you!

  138. Love the recipe. However, i’m confused on the serving size. It says 2 servings. Is the serving size for half the bread,or the whole thing?

  139. 5 stars
Wow! For real!? I’ll certainly try this someday. Thank you so much for sharing!

  140. This is great! I’ve gained weight since COVID kept us home, so now I’m trying to watch what I eat. Bread is a weakness. Mine was a little more dense than I expected, but still good. I made it with coconut flour and toasted it for peanut butter toast. Oh my goodness, it’s like eating a dessert. The coconut aroma is heavenly. Thanks for sharing!

  141. Fixed it tonight and loved it, I just started my diet today and I was so worried about not having bread but now I know I can do this.the bread is so very good thank you, thank you

  142. 5 stars
Super easy to make Didn’t like the eggy smell but after toasting and making my sandwich was very good! 5 stars for Quick easy and healthy

  143. Just made these for my supper. Absolutely delicious and I didn’t feel guilty! Thank you.

  144. WOW! Was I surprised and I am not a huge fan of almond flour. This is really good! My husband, who lives on anything with sugar and chocolate, actually liked it and finished off his half. I can’t wait to make and egg sandwich out of it in the morning. Thanks for sharing your recipe. Keep recipes like this coming!

  145. Thank you for this recipe!

For those asking about baking in the oven, I used my toaster oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes and they turned out just fine.

Because of the grainy texture, it’s difficult to say if longer or shorter is possible, but 1 minute less or more would probably be fine as well.

  146. Yes, this recipe does travel well. You can toast it before hand or just heat it up in the microwave. I usually keep my leftovers in an air tight container or bag. Thanks.

  147. 5 stars
does this recipe travel well/keep till lunchtime? i want to take it to work! how should i store it and how should i warm it up? should i toast it before i pack it up? thanks!

  148. 4 stars
I have to admit I was a little skeptical as I am new to the whole Keto world and I don’t like nuts. So I made it this morning and it didn’t come out exactly right but it was ok. So this evening I thought I would try again. I decided to add some cheese and garlic. They came out perfect. I toasted them real crisp and made them into croutons for my salad. Loved it. Next time I will use more seasoning if I am going to make croutons.

  149. 5 stars
This was so easy and I was surprised how good it is. I did use salted butter in the bread and to fry it afterward so next time I will probably omit the salt in the recipe and see how that works. Otherwise the texture and taste were great!

  150. I make mine in 2 4″ containers because I hate cutting things in half horizontally if I don’t have to. 🙂

  151. Love this recipe and make it all the time! Best thing I found for bread cravings since going keto (about a year now). Was wondering if I can make ahead and how would I store them? We have a lake cottage that we go to on weekends in the summer and it is quite rustic with no microwave. Wondering if I could make ahead and bring with me for the weekend. Would love to have grilled ‘english muffins’ for breakfast up there!

  152. 5 stars
Perfect I made it the minute I saw the recipe and in 90 seconds it took to cook it took 90 seconds to eat. Excellent recipe. Sprinkle a pinch of salt instead of 1/4 teaspoon 5 stars

  153. 5 stars
I ADDED 1 tsp of Italian Seasoning and it was AMAZING AND DELICIOUS! This is a must have recipe for Keto!

  154. 5 stars
Made this for the first time over the weekend. As many others have mentioned, it is to salty. The second batch was perfect with just a small sprinkle of salt. The third batch i added a tablespoon of Parmesan cheese. AWESOME!!
    Thank You for this recipe!

  155. Really good and something I can add to my Keto diet! love that it took 90 secs! I did find the salt was a bit much for me so next time I will cut the salt volume in half. Thank you.

  156. 5 stars
    Loved this recipe !
    So easy and delicious!

I’m going camping in the next couple days and wanted to make some of this bread for burgers and sandwiches. Does this keep well in Tupperware?

  157. 5 stars
Great, easy recipe! Made an amazing bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich yesterday. Today, ‘french toast’ bread, adding cinnamon, vanilla, dash of swerve and nutmeg.
I did leave off the salt because I use salted butter.
This bread is a gamechanger! Thank you!

  158. Made with dash of salt as suggested. Really helped with bread cravings on keto. Added butter and sugar free jelly on top and also treated it like a bagel and added cream cheese a different time. Quick and easy. Thank you for the great post!

  159. Love this! Has this been tried for waffles or pancakes? I’m a carb lover turned keto lover (within the last couple weeks).

  160. Keto bread recipe 90 seconds you share kahs easy to understand. I will save the recipe to learn how to make this cake.

  161. I love how easy these are to make. I used them for hamburger buns. I plane to make breakfast sandwiches with them next.

  162. 5 stars
I’m on a stay at home order in Chicago and this is now one of my go to’s. I’ve tried other keto bread recipes and have not cared for them. The single serving is great for a single person! I added some chia seeds and/or sesame seeds along with shreaded cheese and it was even better. Thank you for this recipe!

  163. 5 stars
Who thought it will be so easy to have bread on a Keto diet ? Really, I didn’t expect this recipe to be a success, despite every good comments! This bread is awesome! For breakfast or dinner, it calms every bread cravings I have! Thank you so much

  164. 5 stars
I have missed bread since starting keto. This recipe is not only simple, it tastes pretty darn good!

  165. All the things and updates are amazing. seriale turcesti and all the romanian tv shows you will be watch on line in hd.

  166. Love this recipe! So quick any easy…I’ll reduce the salt next time I make this as I found the salt over powering.

  167. 5 stars
When I make this bread, I whip the egg in my mug before adding the other ingredients. The bread turns out thick and fluffy. I usually then slice it into 4 pieces. That means I get two English Muffins from the recipe

  168. Hi,
this recipe was pretty good, a little dry but what can you expect for keto. I’ll definitely make it again. Question, I see the micros but what is the serving size or is that for the whole thing?

  169. I just made this bread today and I have got to say that it was DELICIOUS!! I had made vegetable soup last night and this bread when good with it. I fried it but am going to toast the next time. Thank you so much for this recipe.

  170. I made this today! I followed the recipe exactly, and used a 1250 watt microwave. Let it cool, and cut it in half. I browned it a bit on the stove with a little butter as suggested. I’ve been on the Keto diet a month, and I’m pretty excited to have bread to add to the things I can eat. The thought of a egg sandwich sounds amazing right now. Simple and easy to make, thanks!

  171. I am so excited about this recipe! When we buy a whole loaf of bread, even if I put it into the freezer, my husband and I tend to go thru it awfully fast, and we try to stay away from bread! With your recipe, I can make a bit at a time, and not use unhealthy ingredients!

  172. That’s so easy. I mean in 90 seconds is a very less time. I am sure this bread will be tasty AF. I am definitely going to make it today. Thank God I landed on this recipe. I was really missing bread in Keto. Thank you!

  173. I made one with coconut flour and it didn’t mix great. Others turned out great. Ate one with sugar fee syrup and made it even better.

  174. I made this, as a part of my egg benedict breakfast. It was perfect! The texture and fluffiness like a biscuit roll was the best part. I didn’t add any salt since it was going to be smothered in sauce. Thanks for this quick bread!

  175. I make this in my mini dash waffle maker and use it for a breakfast sandwich works wonderful!!

  176. I really enjoyed this and so simple to make! I am wondering how to make more of a loaf style So that I can have Laurie bread daily without having to make it every day. Any suggestions?

  177. Nov 21,2019.
Made my first Keto 90 second bread. I altered the recipe by only using egg whites it was fantastic and so easy. My next trail will be to reduce the baking powder. Hoping for a good outcome.

  178. 5 stars
This is absolutely delicious! I happened to have some leftover garlic butter so used that instead of ordinary butter and it worked beautifully. I was sceptical that it would turn easily out of the ramekin without greasing but it really did. One quick question on the carb content – does the 2g of carbs it contains include the fibre, making it 1g net – or is it 2g net plus one fibre?

  179. This was actually very filling. Did not add salt and tasted a bit eggy until I toasted it. Will experiment with some herbs next time.

  180. Hey guys! I made this with cheddar cheese and it was delicious. For those of you asking, this has 4 g of carbs, but if you’re keto it only has 3 g of net carbs.

  181. 5 stars
Omg, I needed bread. I found this recipe for 90-seconds. Can’t beat it. I thought mine would never look like yours. I had a bowl the same size as you, measured the ingredients and off I went. I spread a little butter on it after browning on the stove and ate with WF strawberry syrup, calorie free, fat, carbs, gluten or sugars of any kind. So good.

  182. I LOVE IT ! THANK YOU FOR THE RECIPE , IF I MAY SUGGEST , I CUT THE SALT TO A PINCH , I USED YOUR 1/4 TS AND WAS SALTY, IM THINKING BECAUSE IT WAS KOSHER SALT AND VERY GRAINY. BUT GREAT RECIPE AND I SENT TO ALL MY KETO FRIENDS !!

    REGARDS,

Microwave is 1200 watts so I used 90% power. Did one in a 3-inch glass dish then one in a 5-inch glass dish. The smaller one was toasted and so good. The larger one will be used as a base for poached eggs. This is such a wonderful recipe and now no longer need to miss English Muffins. Thank you.

  184. The 1st time I made this it seemed too dry. I added 1tsp of psyllium husk & it helped. I tried again & used 2tsp of psyllium husk & only a pinch of salt since I was using salted butter, and it turned out nice & soft & delicious!! I used a 4″ Ramekin. Love it ?

  185. Tried your recipe this AM.
Since I never use a microwave, I poured the batter in an 8″ non-stick pan (with one pat butter) and waited for surface to bubble, turned, when browned, done!
I cut back on the salt to 1/8t. and this is a remarkable, light breakfast treat!
Thanks, I will blog about this too.

  186. This is really good, I use it like I would an english muffin! Can this be made with coconut flour as well or would there need to be some adjustment to the recipe?

  187. I added just a pinch of salt and a little bit of cheddar cheese. Great alternative to bread when those cravings hit!

  188. 5 stars
Best recipe I have tried and first bread I have had in 5 weeks. Outstanding taste, added a little cinnamon with sugarless syrup and it was so good. You are the best!

  189. This sounds amazing and I’ll be making it for breakfast this morning, but I think the carb count is a little off. I think it’s closer to 3g of total net carbs. I could be wrong, but there are almost 3g of net carbs in the 3 tbsp of almond flour, plus add a little for the baking powder and the egg? Maybe I’m counting wrong, or maybe it’s just my almond flour that’s higher than yours…

  190. I have been craving bread for 2 months now! Made this recipe and totally LOVED it!!! Used the Bob’s Red Mill almond flour and a pinch of salt!! Perfect! Thank you so much.

  191. 5 stars
That 90 second keto bread is stunning. I’m not a talented baker, but I would love to give these a try! Thanks, Carrie

  192. 5 stars
Holy deliciousness!! I cannot live without bread, so Keto has been incredibly hard, but I just had a ham & cheese “English muffin” with this bread & it was amazing!! Thanks!

  193. Wanted to add to my last comment, forgot to give you the 5 stars it deserves! Don’t know why but cooking on the griddle gave a more eggy taste , like french toast and not as light.the micro gives best texture and gives the look of sliced bread. I’m a celiac who lived with a carboholic. This bread will be my new go to. Fresh bread in 2 minutes and great when it’s too hot to bake. Thank you, thank you

  194. Game changer! Thanks so much! Celiac with dairy issues. I used almond pulp left from making nut milk( dried a little) the brown flecks from almond skins gave the look and texture of whole wheat bread. So many gluten free things are dry, crumbly, and taste of baking powder. But these were awesome.also worked cooked on griddle.,.no more bun less burgers for me. Thanks

  195. 5 stars
Really good. Just like the picture. I used salted butter so the bread was too salty. Next time I’ll omit the salt since my butter already has it. It was really easy to make.

  196. 5 stars
Thanks for posting this! New to Keto & this helps a lot.

I divided the batter into 4 portions, and microwaved each in a small salsa bowl for 45 seconds each. Used 2 as top/bottom slider buns.

I will bake some soon & see how it works in the oven.

  197. 5 stars
So very good!! Recently went low carb, and definitely helps with cutting out the breads!! Thank you this is definitely my go to and so super quick and easy ??

  198. I always make it in the microwave so I’m not sure. It’s so easy to make it in the microwave so I have never tried it a different way.

  199. This can be made without baking powder and regular salt for those needing a low sodium option. I use a dash of no salt and Mrs. Dash garlic and herb seasoning.

  200. Don’t use coconut flour. Has weird taste. Didn’t like it at all. Will try almond flour next time

  201. I must admit that I was skeptical ?
However the texture is ridiculously good and it seriously could not be easier. I mixed up a little cinnamon/ Stevia to sprinkle on after toasting in more butter. Next time I will reduce the salt as I do find it a bit salty for me but for a savory dish it would likely be fine ? Thx for a fantastic easy recipe!

  202. I just made this bread and it turned out amazing! Oh, and I totally forgot to add the salt and honestly, it didn’t need it!! Thank you for sharing!

  203. 5 stars
I added a bunch of shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped pickled jalapeño. Amazing! What a great base recipe to change up flavors!

  204. 5 stars
I found this to be a wonderful recipe! I replaced the butter with vegan butter and added a tsp. of avocado oil. I added some herbs for a savory flavor, also. After I toasted it, it looked like a muffin! Thanks so much!

I made this last night. Toasted it and topped with low carb chicken salad. Sooo good. How long can this be stored? I am thinking ahead for a July 4th (all day) cookout and taking this for my hamburger buns. Also we do a lot of camping and this could replace bread and buns on our trips.

Just made my first guilt free BLT with this wonderful bread! Game changer…
Just started the keto way so this will really help me to not miss other bread.
    Thank you for sharing!

  207. I’ve been making this bread for a couple months now and it is just so good, definitely fulfills the craving for bread while on keto. To fix any salty issues, I use salted butter and it comes out perfect. Thanks for sharing the recipe! ?

  208. I haven’t tried that before Rachael. I don’t think that it would work the same for this recipe.

  209. Hi, can this be made in an oven ? I do not have a microwave at home, but I do have a conventional oven and a stove oven… Thanks !

Made this today and it was great. I sliced it and toasted it in the toaster after it cooled. My new go-to, thanks ?

This bread is amazing!! I’m just starting my keto journey, and I thought I would try this recipe. I have been eating it every day! I eat it for brunch with eggs, bacon, and cheddar cheese. Honestly, it is wonderful and I don’t feel like I am missing out on anything! Thank you, Carrie!

Loved this recipe. Make the night before, adding pinch of cinnamon and stevia,
slice in half. Next morning I just pop in toaster and off I go. Delicious cinnamon English muffin.

  213. Allie – I believe the ground almonds are higher in fat than the almond flour. Also, the nutritional information is for 1 serving size which is half of the recipe as the recipe makes 2 servings. Thank you.

I just made this bread and it’s lovely but when I work out the ingredients I used it works out a far greater fat content that yours. I used ground almonds as that is what we use for almond flour in the uk, I don’t know if that makes a difference. Per serving (half the recipe) this is what I get: cal 240, fat 21.3g, net carb 2.2g, protein 9.4g. Any idea why mine is so much more?

Wow, you just saved me I love bread way too much but, I gave it all up for my Keto diet. My 1st was really good but the eggy taste had to go so I tried egg whites and lol it was a flop original one it is the best way but only with a pinch of salt.

    Thanks, Pam

I just made this on my lunch hour and loved it. I made a grilled cheese with it because I have been craving that for a while. It was delicious!! Will definitely make this again!!

While I do not really miss bread I do occasionally like a grilled cheese. I think this will also work well as a hamburger bun this Summer. It is a bit salty even when using unsalted butter, so I might cut that back a bit. It made a great grilled cheese though. I made mine in a small rectangular pan then cut it in half and grilled it in my cast iron pan with cheddar. Wonderful!

  218. Gail – Sorry, I’m not sure. I have only made this recipe in the microwave. Thanks.

  219. I’m not sure. I haven’t tried it that way yet. I just love it and it takes no time at all in the microwave!

  220. Thanks for sharing Marci – You’re welcome! I’m so glad you and your brother enjoy it 🙂

My first attempt ever at making this type of bread. Awesome recipe. Thank you for sharing. The bread turned out great. Put bread in toaster and added butter, delicious!

  222. Hi – what are cooking instructions (time, temp) for cooking in oven? I don’t use microwave but want to try this recipe that sounds delicious!

  223. You have it listed as 2 servings. Is it 2 because you are slicing it in half? Or does the recipe make enough “batter” to use two bowls/containers?

  224. 5 stars
Made this today wow! Easy, and great toasted. Only added 1/4 tsp salt, will add some garlic powder next time.

  225. 5 stars
Just had it and used it as a bun for a homemade burger, don’t really eat bread, but you got to have a bun with a burger!! Was lovely, light and fluffy, toasted it a little. 5 stars

I have to say a huge thank you for this recipe for both my brother and myself. My brother is a 30-year type 2 diabetic, and a carboholic. I’m a recently diagnosed type 2 also with a severe gluten sensitivity. This bread is a lifesaver for us both. My brother loves it so much that he says he would never go back to regular bread. Thank you so much!

  227. Thanks for this. it’s becoming a regular part of my breakfasts. I grill it with a piece of cheese and a couple strips of bacon.

Thanks for this incredible and fast bread recipe! can it be roasted using air fryer?

  229. Has anyone tried this in the oven? Not a fan of microwave cooking. It sounds great! will give it a whirl!

Easy and delicious! Much more taste than I ever expected. Thank you for keeping me in track?

Just made my first recipe of Keto Bread using this recipe. It was very good. I was very skeptical at first. I did not taste the “eggy” flavor or “corn muffin” flavors that I read so much about. I will definitely be making this again.

I made this today. I did not have almond flour so I took some slivered almonds and made flour from them in my nutribullet. This turned out fabulous. Only a pinch of salt is necessary. The variations are endless! I don’t do Keto but I will definitely be making this often for everything!! This is a great save if you are out of bread! Thanks so much for this recipe! It is DELISH!

I want to say thank you. I don’t always have time to bake, and this is a life saver, of sorts. My brother is diabetic, and his doctor recommended a low-carb diet; I’m diabetic also, and gluten intolerant. This bread has the most wonderful taste and texture, and is so quick and easy, I’ve already committed the recipe to memory. Even my SO, who is neither gluten free nor diabetic, likes the taste and texture. I did cut down the salt, because like some others, I found the 1/4 teaspoon to be too salty. Other than that, raves and kudos!! We are thrilled, and planning all the different ways we’re going to use this bread. Many thanks!!

I love this recipe better than the mug one!!! I made a grilled cheese bacon with this! Next time i will make garlic toast with it!

Not sure what happened to my last post but you gotta try adding dash of nutmeg use wider bowl slice grill with ham and swiss cheese presto Monte Cristo, thanks again!

Agree with post regarding salt omitted salt, grilled it first time. It definitely reminds me of corn muffins texture. This morning make recipe added 1 T. of swerve brown sugar and dash or cinnamon, nutmeg and chopped walnuts OMG. It was great topped with cream cheese frosting(cream cheese, butter ,vanilla and swerve confection .Thanks can’t wait to try pumpkin spice next time I’m craving carrot cake thanks so much!

I used an Egg Beater to lower the calories. I thought the mug bread was 1 serving. Still not sure about the carbs. Will do each ingredient separately.

I was looking for a quick way to test a bit of (raw) JALAPENO and came across your 90 SECOND bread. Typically, a mug version isn’t on my radar since I’ve taken up keto loaves of bread, cakes, cookies, etc., quantities of baking. BUT I am totally impressed at the texture, very English muffin, and wonderful flavor! I cut the salt to less than an 1/8th and put just a dab of butter into the mix before whisking it really well. DELICIOUS! Was very surprised to see it is a serving for 2 muffins although hubby and I split it to see about the JALAPENO spiciness (I can safely put more into the loaf I’ll be doing next). Long winded to express my thanks and appreciation for getting bread in a mug done quickly absolutely perfect!!

  241. Just did this recipe as written, then tried it with chickpea flour and a touch of madras curry. Both worked very well in a four inch ramekin.

I just made this delicious recipe and fried it in butter. It’s fast and easy to make. I will use a pinch of salt in the future.

This is a great recipe, but the salt is too much. I had to cut it in half. I have genetic HBP and this was clearly too much salt. After the reduction, I made 3 of these and cut them in thirds. Mine were pretty fluffy, so thirds are the perfect thickness. Now I have muffins/bread for the week! Thanks!

Love that there are bread options out there. This one was way too salty for me. Will adjust next time. Thanks!

  245. 5 stars
I just made this! It reminded me of the consistency of Jiffy cornbread. It was really easy and good, except way too salty for me. I will definitely be making it again, minus a lot of the salt. Thank you!!

  246. 5 stars
Great recipe but Bob’s changed their carb count last year so it’s over 5 net carbs if using their almond flour. Just need to adjust counts based on actual products used.

I think I’ll premix the dry ingredients so it’s even faster. I loved it. Browned it in the skilled at put a slice of extra sharp cheddar for a sandwich filling. So easy, so fast. I love bread. Best substitute to date. Thanks

Made a grilled cheese sandwich using this bread. It was very good. I think maybe a little less salt next time. Will definitely make this again.

It was very good husband is a diabetic so we are living healthier now, oh I left the salt out and it was still delicious

  250. 5 stars
First time I made this it was way to salty, I did not give up. Love bread anyway next time I left out the salt and added a little of cinnamon. Excellent. Also toast it after. Perfect. My go to bread fix for sure

  251. 5 stars
For my personal tastes I definitely need to reduce the amount of salt by half. Other than that, I think this is a great recipe! I will try adding some cheese and herbs next time. Thanks for posting a great recipe!

  252. 4 stars
Made this today and the taste isn’t so bad except I believe you need to reduce the salt to about an eighth of a teaspoon because this was so salty when I made it as directed. So I didn’t get to enjoy it as much as I would have liked. But the consistency was good. Definitely will make again, just reducing the salt amount.

  253. 5 stars
I added 1 tsp of swerve and used coconut oil and it made it taste so much better. I tried it with butter, and realized my butter was salted so it came out too salty, then tried it with varying amounts of swerve – love it with 1 tsp.

Thank you so much for such a GREAT base recipe!!! It is a life saver!!!

Just made this bread and sliced it in half and toasted it. OMG! It is wonderful. Next time I am going to add garlic and dill weed. The possibilities are endless: add cinnamon and stevia, add shredded cheese. So happy I can have my bread and eat it too! Thank you for this recipe.

This is the “bestest” for people following low carb/keto. I followed recipe exact, same here, too salty each time I made it including last when I reduced it by half. I’ve made this as an english muffin, garlic bread, toast and today made a salmon patty sandwich and completely left the salt out and was just perfect. Thanks so much for this recipe.

I have a question about the nutritional facts.

Recipe says makes 4 servings, correct? Then the nutritional facts say 2 carbs but doesn’t list the per serving. So I’m assuming is per 1 serving not 4, correct?

  257. 5 stars
Omitted the salt all together on my 2nd try. It came out delicious. Love this easy peasy bread recipe. Thank You!!!!

  258. 4 stars
Good texture but way too salty. I’ll leave out the salt next time. Other than the salt, I made a great breakfast sandwich with it.

  259. 5 stars
Just made this and it was very good and super convenient. For me, it was a bit too salty so next time I will reduce the amount of salt. Can’t wait until tomorrow to try again. Thanks for giving this old gal her bread back.

    It looks very good…
Can you please advise if what they call ground almonds is the same?
Can you replace the almond flour for coconut flour?
    Thanks in advance!
