Ingredients - Pizza Dough, mozzarella cheese, olive oil, eggs, sausage, red bell pepper
  • Pizza Dough – We used store bought dough. Use what you prefer. Substitute with crescent roll dough
  • Mozzarella Cheese – Sprinkle cheddar cheese or cheese of your choice
  • Olive Oil – You can also use Avocado Oil
  • Toppings – Choose your favorite toppings such as eggs, spinach, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms and even brown potatoes.

How to Make Breakfast Pizza

Step 1 – Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Lightly spray pizza pan or baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.

Step 2 – Form pizza dough into pan using your hands.

Step 3 – Brush dough with olive oil.

Step 4 – Next, add eggs to a bowl and whisk.  Pour and cook the egg yolks in a skillet on the stove over medium-high heat.

Step 5 – Cut red bell pepper, set aside. Cook and drain sausage in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 6 – Add a layer of mozzarella cheese. Evenly add scrambled egg mixture to the pizza.

Step 7 – Now it is time to add sausage and diced pepper. Add more cheese and season with salt and black pepper. Yum!

Step 8 – Bake in 425 degree F oven for 15-20 or until golden brown and cheese is melted.

  • Chop Veggies – We keep diced onion and bell pepper in the freezer so it is easy to add to any recipe we like. Another time saving tip is to use a small food chopper or food processor to quickly and easily chop the onions.

  • 2 cups 16 oz bag mozzarella cheese, shredded

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage cooked and drained
  • ½ cup red bell pepper diced

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Lightly spray a pizza pan or baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Place 1 store-bought pizza dough on the prepared pan and gently press and stretch it into the desired shape using your hands.
  • Brush the top of the pizza dough with approximately 1 tablespoon olive oil.
  • Crack 4 large eggs into a bowl and whisk until well combined. Scramble the eggs in a skillet over medium heat until just set. Remove from the heat.
  • Brown 1 pound breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.
  • Dice ½ cup red bell pepper.
  • Sprinkle 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the pizza dough.
  • Evenly distribute the scrambled eggs, cooked breakfast sausage, and diced red bell pepper over the cheese.
  • Top with the remaining 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove the pizza from the oven and garnish with chopped fresh basil, parsley, green onions, chives, or your favorite fresh herbs before slicing and serving.
