This recipe was originally featured on my other Coupon Closet, but since our family loves it so much, I had to share it with you here. This recipe is called Balsamic Chicken Sliders.
If you liked my Grilled Balsamic Chicken recipe then you will love this one! I basically threw all the stuff in that recipe into a crockpot. Shred the chicken and served it on buns!
My husband and I LOVED the sweet and tangy taste to the chicken. In fact, we are thinking about serving it on rice next time and giving that a try.

- 2 -3 boneless skinless chicken breasts (they can be frozen)
- ¾ cup Balsamic Vinegar
- ¼ cup water
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1/ onion chopped
- Salt and pepper
- Place everything in your crockpot. Yes, the chicken can be frozen.
- Cook on low for 6 - 8 hours, or on high for 4 hours.
- Shred the chicken.
- Stir to combine.
- Serve on your favorite rolls or on rice.
