Easy Baked Pork Chops

I am always looking for ways to fix pork chops. We always seem to grill pork chops or make them in the slow cooker. But if not cooked right, they can turn out dry. So when I discovered that I could marinate pork chops in coke, I knew I had to try it.

When combining the two main ingredients: coca-cola and BBQ sauce, I was amazed on how flavorful these pork chops turned out. I love it when recipes include easy ingredients and this recipe is no exception. You may love these Crock Pot Ribs with Coke.

Coke marinated Pork Chops in oven:

Cooking the pork chops in the oven with the marinade made these porks chops turn out so juicy and full of flavor. I really like that the coke tenderizes the meat so it literally melts in your mouth.

This is definitely a meal that I can put together quickly and head out the door. I usually cook everything in my instant pot or crock pot, but occasionally I like to use my oven and this recipe is at the top of my list.

The entire family will love these baked boneless pork chops.

Easy Pork Chop Marinade:

This marinade is so easy to prepare. Plus, you probably already have all the easy marinade ingredients. Using what you have at home, saves you time and money.

It is easy to prepare the marinade in a gallon size plastic bag, add your favorite meat and place in the freezer for later use. I will even, place the pork chops in a baggie and let it marinade while I am at work.

You can also throw this marinade in the crockpot with your meat of choice and cook on low for 4-6 hours. So many options with so few ingredients.

I love it and know your family will too!

How do I make tender pork chops in the oven?

This coke marinade makes the pork so very tender. You are going to be pleasantly surprised how amazing this pork chop recipe is. Our entire family loves when I cook pork chops. These oven baked pork chops are out of this world.

Making sure that you cook the pork chops in the right amount of time keeps the pork chops from getting dry. I think using a marinade such as this coca-cola marinade keeps them tender and flavorful.

Ingredients for Tender Baked Pork Chops:

  • Pork Chops
  • Coca Cola
  • Barbecue Sauce
  • Garlic Powder
  • Salt and Pepper

How long to bake pork chops:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray 9X13 baking dish with cooking spray or olive oil.
  • Place the pork chops in a baking pan.
  • Whisk together the cola, barbecue sauce, garlic powder, salt and pepper in small bowl.
  • Pour this mixture over the pork chops.
  • Then bake your pork chops until they have reached an internal temperature of 145 degrees F.

How long to cook your marinated Pork Chops?

It will depend on thick your pork chop. I like to use a meat thermometer to ensure that the pork chops are cooked through. Here is a general rule to follow when cooking the pork chops.

  • Cook pork chops in preheated oven at 400 degrees F for 25-30 minutes or until internal temperature of 145 degrees F is reached for the pork chops. You might have to continue baking if temperature hasn’t reach 145 degrees F.
  • Switch the oven to the broiler setting and broil for 3-5 minutes to brown the tops of the pork chops slightly.
  • Remove the pork from the pan.
  • Serve with a little extra sauce if you like. Enjoy!

Keep in mind that thin boneless pork chop recipes usually require less baking time so you will need to adjust the cooking time accordingly

Variations to Coke Marinated Pork Chops:

We love recipes that we can change based on our dietary needs or what we have in the pantry. This recipe is no exception.

  • Occasionally we will add some brown sugar to the marinade. We love the combination of the BBQ sauce and brown sugar. It really gives it a slight sweetness that is perfect with these pork chops.
  • You can add in a splash of soy sauce.
  • Try adding some worcestershire sauce.
  • One of my friends adds in a splash of lemon juice.

As you can see, use what you have in your pantry and mix things up.

This recipe is perfect in a 9×13 casserole dish.
