This Cool Whip Candy reminds me so much of the light, fluffy Musketeers bars we all loved growing up. The first time I made it, I couldnโt believe how simple it was to make, the flavor and soft texture.
All you need to do is just whip, freeze, dip, and done for the perfect amount of sweetness! Itโs the perfect little homemade candy to keep stashed in the freezer for holidays gifts, parties, or those nights when you need something sweet ASAP.

Ingredients

- Milk Chocolate Chips – We recommend using quality chocolate
- Cool Whip – Make sure thawed
- Dark Chocolate Melting Wafers – You can also use regular milk chocolate or white chocolate chips if preferred

How to Make Cool Whip Candy

Step 1 – Line an 8 x 8-inch pan with parchment paper and set aside.

Step 2 – Place the milk chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 1 minute.

Step 3 – Stir and continue microwaving in 30-second intervals with a spatula. Make sure to stir after each time, until smooth and fully melted.

Step 4 – Once melted, allow the chocolate to cool to room temperature, about 15 minutes. In a mixing bowl, gently fold the cooled, melted chocolate into the thawed whipped topping until smooth and evenly combined.

Step 5 – Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.

Step 6 – Freeze for 30 minutes, then remove and cut into 36 small squares. Arrange the squares on a parchment-lined baking sheet and place back in the freezer for another 30 minutes.

Step 7 – Melt the dark chocolate wafers according to the package instructions. Using a fork, dip each frozen square into the melted chocolate, making sure itโs fully coated.

Step 8 – Set the dipped squares on a parchment-lined baking sheet and allow the chocolate coating to harden completely. Then the candies are ready to serve and enjoy!

- 24 oz dark chocolate melting wafers or use regular milk chocolate if preferred
