Recipe Tips

  • Place over Indirect Heat – Keeps the turkey juicy and prevents burning.
  • Use a Meat Thermometer – Itโ€™s the best way to ensure perfect doneness. We recommend checking in the thickest part of the thigh. The internal temperature should reach 165 degrees.
  • Let it Rest – Donโ€™t skip the resting period. It keeps the meat tender.
  • Try a Marinade – Soak the turkey overnight in buttermilk or a citrus brine for added flavor. Try this Turkey Brine Recipe for another easy idea.
  • Grilling Turkey – Place the turkey in a drip pan to catch all the drippings for delicious turkey gravy.
