No Bake Cheerio cereal bars
We have been making a lot of homemade desserts lately for the kids lunch boxes. I want them to have a fun treat in their lunchbox and we have had a lot of fun trying out different things.
The other week the kids wanted rice krispy treats, but I didn’t have the rice krispies. However, I did have several boxes of plain cheerios in my pantry that I got on sale.
I used cheerios instead and the kids loved this new Cheerio bars recipe. They are definitely a keeper!
Next time you can get plain cheerios for cheap… don’t skip the sale. Instead, snag a box or two so you can make this easy and frugal treat.

Can you replace the marshmallows with peanut butter???
I used pumpkin spice cheerios. Turned out fantastic!
These are really good, but maybe need 6 cups of cereal instead of just 5. It was quite the marshmallowy mess, but managed to get them together! They are yummy, but lots of marshmallow!
