The first time I made Air Fryer Gnocchi, I couldn’t believe how easy and delicious they were! No boiling, no fuss, just crispy little bites straight from the air fryer.
It’s become one of my favorite quick sides or salad topper for busy weeknights and an easy appetizer for game days. My family devours these like tater tots, and I love that I can season them anyway I want and use any type of gnocchi.

Ingredients

- Shelf-Stable Gnocchi – You can use refrigerator or frozen
- Olive Oil – This gives the gnocchi a crispy texture
- Simple Spices – Garlic Powder, Dried Oregano, salt and black pepper. Feel free to also use fresh herbs
- Grated Parmesan Cheese – Adds so much flavor
- Marinara Sauce – Use a jar sauce or make this Easy Marinara Sauce

How to Make Air Fryer Gnocchi

Step 1 – Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F and spray the air fryer basket with spray olive oil.

Step 2 – In a large mixing bowl, toss together the gnocchi, olive oil, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, pepper and grated parmesan cheese until well coated.

Step 3 – Add the gnocchi to the air fryer basket (ideally in a single layer but its ok if they overlap a little bit).

Step 4 – Air fry Gnocchi for 10-13 minutes, toss them every 4-6 minutes, until they are slightly golden brown on all sides.
Step 5 – Serve immediately while warm and crispy with the marinara sauce for dipping and enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 pound Gnocchi shelf-stable, refrigerator or frozen
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ¼ teaspoon Dried Oregano

- 1 cup Marinara Sauce for serving

Frequently Asked Questions
You can use regular gnocchi, cauliflower or sweet potato gnocchi in the recipe if you prefer. If you use frozen gnocchi do not thaw it out before using it in this recipe. Frozen gnocchi will take a few more minutes longer to cook so add a few minutes to the cooking time until golden brown.
There is no need to boil before air frying. That’s why this is an easy appetizer!
These are best served fresh but the leftovers can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Reheat them in the air fryer when enjoying to make them crispy again!
