Chick-fil-a Grilled Chicken Club Sandwich is an easy but flavor packed meal. It makes the best lunch or dinner with fresh ingredients.
Chick-fil-a Grilled Chicken Club Sandwich
This is one of our favorite fast food sandwiches and it’s so easy to enjoy at home. With a few simple ingredients, this sandwich comes together fast for a great lunch or dinner.
What is on the Chick-fil-a Grilled Chicken Club?
It starts with a breast of chicken grilled with a few seasonings. It is the closest taste served on a toasted multigrain for a copy cat Chick-fil-a meal.
The sandwich is topped with cheese, Applewood smoked bacon, green leaf lettuce and tomato. The tender and juicy backyard grilled chicken is absolutely amazing.
Feel free to top the sandwiches with any dressing or condiment you prefer. You might prefer a little mayo or honey roasted bbq sauce.
Ingredients
FOR THE CHICKEN:
- Boneless breast of chicken, filleted
- White Vinegar
- Brown Sugar
- Salt
- Garlic Powder
- Granulated Sugar
FOR THE SANDWICHES:
- Leaf Lettuce Leaves
- Tomato sliced
- Buns
- Bacon, cooked
- Colby Jack Cheese
- Dressing or Condiment of your choice
How to make the chicken marinade:
- Combine the ingredients. Whisk together the vinegar, brown sugar, salt, garlic powder and sugar. Marinade the chicken fillets in this mixture for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
How to grill the chicken:
- Preheat the grill. Use medium high heat (400 degrees F) and rub the grill grates with oil so that the chicken does not stick.
- Grill the chicken breasts. Place the chicken directly on the grill grates and grill the chicken for 3-5 minutes on each side. The chicken needs to reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
- Allow to rest. Move the chicken to a separate plate to rest for at least 5 minutes.
How to make Chick-fil-a Grilled Chicken Club:
- Warm the multigrain brioche buns. You can use the microwave for 30 seconds or place the buns face down on the grill for a few seconds to brown them slightly.
- Assemble the sandwiches. Then it’s time to assemble the sandwiches. Spread your dressing or condiment of choice on one side of the hamburger buns.
- Add toppings. Then top the sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes and then the grilled chicken fillets. Top the chicken with a slice of the cheese and then 2 bacon slices.
- Serve and enjoy. The sandwich is ready to enjoy!
How to store:
Refrigerate any leftover chicken in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Assemble the sandwiches when you are ready to serve so they don’t get soggy.

How long to grill chicken:
Chicken takes about 3 to 5 minutes to cook. The safest and most accurate way to check is to use a meat thermometer.
This needs to be inserted into the thickest portion of the chicken and should be 165 degrees.
