How to make Crock Pot Steak and Potato Soup:
First, dice the the red onion and the potatoes into small bite size pieces. You don’t want the potatoes to big or you won’t be able to eat them in one bite.
Once they are cut up, place them in the crock pot.
Second, place the stew meat on top of the veggies.
Now, it is time for all of the delicious seasonings. Add the minced garlic and steak seasoning. Then pour the A1 steak sauce and the beef broth over everything.
Finally, stir everything to combine. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
How do you thicken Crock-Pot beef stew?
We use a simple cornstarch slurry to thicken the stew toward the end of the cooking time.
Just combine the water and cornstarch together in a small bowl. Once you have it mixed together, add it to the crock pot for the last hour of the cook time.
This should help to thicken the stew perfectly.
Now, just serve and enjoy!
