Then place the French fries in a large mixing bowl and toss them with the seasoning blend.

Serve the fries with the cheese sauce on the side and enjoy! The fries are best served warm. You may even love this Taco Bell Jalapeno Sauce Recipe.

Variations:

  • Taco seasoning. Substitute taco seasoning instead of the blend in the recipe. It is similar and an easy variation to try.
  • Sour Cream. We like to serve these with a side of sour cream. The combination with cheese is delicious.
  • Baking Sheet. If you prefer to bake the fries instead of frying, you can do so. This is a healthier alternative to frying.

Tips and Tricks:

  • Fries. If you can’t find this specific brand of fries, you can use any crispy frozen fries. The key is the brand needs to be crispy for the desired outcome, Crinkle, curly and other varieties simply won’t result in the same fries we love at Taco Bell.
  • Toppings. While the cheese is definitely the best part, feel free to add all of your favorite nacho toppings. Some ideas include: jalapenos, guacamole, diced onion and more. This recipe can easily be customized for what everyone likes the most.
  • Cheese. Make sure to microwave the cheese in increments. This will prevent the cheese from burning.
