If you love a classic McDonald’s Big Mac, you’re going to love this wrap version even more. It’s got all the same flavors — juicy seasoned beef, crunchy lettuce, tangy pickles, and that iconic sauce — but it’s ready in 35 minutes for a fraction of the drive-thru price.

This Big Mac Wrap has become a go-to in our house, especially on nights when I have leftover ground beef to use up. My kids love building their own, and the copycat Big Mac sauce is what really makes it taste like the real thing — you’ll want to put it on everything.
If you have made Big Mac Tater Tot Casserole, Big Mac Pizza, Big Mac Salad or Big Mac Sloppy Joes then you are going to love this wrap.
Why You’ll Love This Big Mac Wrap
- Tastes just like the real thing. That signature Big Mac sauce is the star here, and it takes less than 5 minutes to whisk together.
- Faster than the drive-thru. From start to finish, this wrap is ready in 35 minutes — no waiting in line required.
- Budget-friendly. One pound of ground beef makes 4 hearty wraps for under $10 total, which is less than what you’d spend on 2 Big Macs at McDonald’s.
- Kid-approved. My kids love building their own wraps at the table, which makes this an easy win for picky eaters too.
Ingredients

- Ground Beef (85/15) – You can also make this with ground turkey or a mixture of both. Ground chicken works too.
- Big Mac Sauce (Mayo, French Dressing, Pickle Relish, Vinegar, Paprika) – This is the copycat sauce that makes it taste like the real thing. Make a double batch since it keeps well in the fridge for up to a week.
- Garlic Powder & Onion Powder – Pantry staples that season the beef. Check out our substitute guides if you’re out.
- Flour Tortillas – Use any 6-inch tortilla you like, including low-carb or whole wheat.
- Lettuce, Onions, Pickles, Cheddar Cheese – The classic Big Mac toppings. Feel free to leave out anything your family doesn’t love.

How to Make Big Mac Wrap

Step 1 – In a small bowl, mix together all the sauce ingredients. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Step 2 – In a medium skillet, heat the ground beef over medium high heat. Break up the beef as it cooks and cook until the beef is no longer pink. Drain off any excess grease from the pan.

Step 3 – Season the ground beef with the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until combined.

Step 4 – Place the tortillas out on a working surface. Then top each one with ¼ of the beef mixture, shredded lettuce, onions, pickles and shredded cheddar cheese. Top each wrap with some of the Big Mac sauce. Fold and serve wrap immediately.
Step 5 – To roll without spilling, leave about an inch of space on the top and bottom of the tortilla when adding your filling. Fold the top and bottom in first, then roll tightly from one side to the other. This keeps everything sealed inside.
Expert Tips
- Sauce Ingredients – Combine the sauce ingredients in a small bowl until mix together. We like to keep in the fridge covered with a plastic wrap as it enhances the flavor.
- Making Wraps – I like to let everyone make their own wraps by setting up a bar with all of our favorite toppings. With the addition of the sauce, I even like to drizzle ketchup and yellow mustard for even more flavor.
- Warm the Tortillas – Lightly warm each tortilla in a dry skillet for about 15 seconds per side before filling. This makes them easier to roll without cracking and adds a nice bit of texture.

Make Ahead Tips
This recipe is great for meal prep. Cook the beef and mix the sauce up to 3 days ahead and store them separately in the fridge. Keep the lettuce, onions, and cheese in separate containers too. When you’re ready to eat, just warm the beef and assemble a fresh wrap in minutes. I don’t recommend assembling the wraps ahead of time, since the lettuce will get soggy sitting in the tortilla.
Can I Freeze Big Mac Wraps?
The cooked, seasoned beef freezes well for up to 3 months in an airtight container or freezer bag. I don’t recommend freezing the assembled wraps, sauce, or lettuce, since the texture suffers once thawed. For a freezer-friendly meal, freeze just the beef, then thaw and build fresh wraps when you’re ready to eat.

Store the beef, sauce, and veggies separately if you’re not eating right away, and don’t add the sauce until you’re ready to serve. This keeps the tortilla from getting soft too quickly.
You can substitute an extra 2 tablespoons of ketchup mixed with 1 teaspoon of sugar if you’re out of French dressing. It won’t be exactly the same, but it’s a close, budget-friendly swap.
