Recipe Notes

Beef: Thinly slice the beef against the grain to ensure tenderness.
Don’t overcrowd the pot when browning the beef. Do it in batches if necessary. This step adds flavor to the beef and the dish overall.
Be careful not to overcook the vegetables. The short cooking time under pressure is sufficient for tender crisp veggies. Use a quick release of pressure to stop the cooking process and prevent the vegetables from becoming too soft.
The nutritional information does not include the rice.

    5 stars
Awesome recipe! Thanks Eat on a Dime!

I agree with the 2-3 minutes instead of 5 minutes. I also added 1tsp of oregano as the last item in the pot before starting the pressure cooker. Do not mix in.

Next time I want to add teriyaki sauce, I realized I didn’t have any when I already started cooking lol.

  2. Carrie says:

If using frozen beef strips. I would cook on high pressure for 15 minutes with a quick release. However, this will make the bell peppers too soft so I would wait to add those in. Then after the cook time, I would switch the instant pot to the sauté setting, add in the bell peppers and cook for 3-5 minutes until the peppers were tender. Let me know how it turns out!

  3. Pelin says:

How long to cook beef strips from frozen? Thanks!

  4. Carrie says:

You can definitely add in broccoli with the other veggies as well. I would only cook on high pressure for 2-3 minutes with the broccoli in there so that it doesn’t get over cooked. I hope you enjoy it!

  5. Patty says:

You forgot when to put in broccoli and I don’t see it in dish,I love broccoli

  6. Shirley A Reid says:

I do not have an instant pot but this recipe sounds good and I would like to try it. Is it possible to make it in a crock pot and how would I go about it. Thanks
