Crock Pot Creamy Tuscan Chicken

If you enjoyed Crockpot Chicken Alfredo Casserole, you will go crazy over this delicious recipe.

Crock Pot Creamy Tuscan Chicken has all the delicious flavors you love about alfredo sauce but with sun dried tomatoes and tender spinach. My family loved this recipe.

We are amazed how everything comes together for such an amazing meal that you will love. Even better, it is literally so simple to make.

The best part is the crock pot does all the work and you can enjoy this meal even on a busy weeknight.

What sides to serve?

We try to keep this meal really simple by serving it with a simple side salad. The salad goes really well with the rich sauce and balances out the recipe well.

If I have about 15 minutes, our family loves this Garlic Bread Cheese Sticks Recipe.

We also like making this super easy Crusty Artisan Bread.

If you already have your dough prepared, you can have fresh bread in about 30 minutes. It is the best bread to dip into the amazing alfredo sauce. The sauce is so tasty and you are going to want to get every last drop.

How long to cook chicken in the crock pot?

We love slow cooking chicken in the crock pot. It comes out so tender and can be easily shredded if it is cooked correctly.

Most of the time we just put our frozen chicken in the crock pot and cook on low for about 6 hours. You can also cook on high for about 4 hours.

This recipe calls for chicken breast but you can even use chicken thighs . This recipe is amazing with both.

We have used chicken thighs and the family enjoyed the meal just as much. I have also used a mix of chicken thighs and chicken breasts. Do what works best for your family and what you already have.

You’ll need a Crock Pot for this Recipe.

You definitely need a good slow cooker to make this recipe. My favorite kitchen appliance is my Instant Pot Aura.

If you are in the market for something new, it is a really awesome crock pot. In this recipe, you can use it to thicken the sauce if needed before serving. No need to dirty up a separate pan.

It is also great for recipes that require browning the meat because you can just do that right in the Instant Pot Aura.

It makes life much easier around here and has really become a favorite appliance in our house. We love crock pot recipes!

Crock Pot Creamy Tuscan Chicken Pasta:

We like to eat this delicious Creamy Tuscan Chicken with linguine noodles. However, feel free to use what you have. We have used fettuccine, thin spaghetti noodles and even penne pasta before with a little olive oil. Anything will taste great and we have even used mashed potatoes.

We even like it without pasta!

We love to add garlic powder or fresh garlic and cream cheese and heavy cream to the spinach and sun dried tomatoes.

You can also add some artichoke hearts! We have even add red pepper flakes to spice it up. It makes the best cream sauce.

Yummy spinach gets tossed in the crock pot during the last few minutes of cooking. If you want more sauce you can add 1 to 2 cups of chicken stock or chicken broth.

The recipe is super easy to pull together and let slow cook all day. The house smelled wonderful when I got home. We used bow tie pasta as that’s what I had on hand. It tasted good but I felt like something was missing. I added additional Parmesan cheese to mine and that helped.
