How to Make Baked Pancakes

  • Step 1 – First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with a non stick spray of your choice.  I love using my pyrex baking dish (they have some on sale here).

Step 2 – Next in a medium bowl whisk together the dry ingredients (sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt).

Step 3 – Then in a separate large bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs and melted butter.  Then stir the flour mixture into the wet ingredients, just until combined. The pancake batter will have lumps.

Step 4 – Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Bake until edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Step 5 – Allow it to cool for about 5 minutes, then cut into squares and serve with your favorite toppings.

  • Prepare Baking Dish – Prepare the baking dish by spraying with cooking spray or lining with parchment paper. This helps with cleanup and serving the pancakes.
  • Combining Ingredients – Combine the ingredients until everything is mixed together. If you batter has lumps in it that is okay.
