Recipe Tips
- Sauce Consistency – Watch the sauce as it cooks. If it gets too thick, thin it out with a small amount of water until it’s the consistency that you prefer. If the sauce does not get thick enough, continue to cook on medium heat until it thickens.
- Simmer Gently – Avoid boiling to keep flavors balanced.
- Taste and Adjust – Add more vinegar for tang or sugar for sweetness.
- Let it Cool – Flavor deepens as it sits.
- Use Fresh Spices – For the best taste.

Very close to the real thing! Didn’t add the Cayenne Pepper, (will try that next time!), But did add 1 tsp salt. I’ll cut that to 1/2 tsp ext time.
