How to rice cauliflower:
You will just need a head of cauliflower. You can use food processor like this, or you can even use an inexpensive food chopper.
In a matter of minutes your fresh cauliflower is chopped up into a “rice”. It does not take long at all to do this if you want to make your own cauliflower rice.
Ingredients for easy cauliflower fried rice:
- 1 Head of Cauliflower or 3 cups Riced Cauliflower
- 2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
- 2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- Salt and pepper
- 1 cup Frozen Peas and Diced Carrots Blend
- 3 large Eggs
- Green Onions, Sliced (Optional for Topping)
How to make cauliflower fried rice:
First, rice the cauliflower by placing large pieces of the cauliflower into a food processor and blending until the cauliflower is in small pieces. You can also use 3 cups of already riced cauliflower.
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add in the peas and carrots and sauté for 3-4 minutes until they are soft.
Move the veggies to the side of the pan and pour in the eggs.
Scramble the eggs. Next, stir in the cauliflower, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt and pepper.
Stir until the ingredients are thoroughly combined but be careful to not smash the peas.
Sauté these ingredients (stirring regularly) for 3-4 minutes until the cauliflower is tender.
Serve topped with the green onions and enjoy!
