Can you Make Tortilla Roll Ups the day before?
Yes, we actually recommend preparing these the day before serving. This allows the mixture to set within the tortilla to easily slice and it keeps the tortilla together.
You can also prepare the cream cheese mixture even further in advance and store in an air tight container. Then when you are ready to serve, allow the cream cheese to come to room temperature and then spread on the tortilla.

I made these for one of our horseman’s association events with about 60 attendees. I also made another version of the pinwheels so we would have enough. Everyone liked these better than the other recipe and I got a lot of compliments. I followed the recipe to the letter but I found that it made more than the 5 rolls. I ran out of the regular tortillas and had to use a couple of my low carb ones and nobody noticed. This will be my new, go to pinwheel recipe.
Ceci – Yay! I’m so glad it was a hit!

The ingredient measurements are listed in the recipe card at the bottom of the post.
I make these but put in a cup of chipotle salsa. I usually put the mixture in the fridge to meld the flavors, and then the next day spread it on the tortillas. Also, I use the Hidden Valley fiesta ranch dressing packet.
Yum! That sounds amazing!
