Crock pot chicken stew recipe
This is one of the easiest toss and go meals. I love to use leftover chicken and make Crock Pot Chicken Stew. The kids think they are eating a new meal and it is a win all around.

Make sure you have a good slow cooker for this chicken stew crock pot recipe.
There are some really good ones on sale right now. If you work all day, you may want to invest in a programmable crock pot.
They are awesome because you can set them to start later, or to stop and switch to warm once the dinners are ready. Amazon has some on sale right now too.
I also really like this crockpot. Now, it’s not programmable but it’s so handy!
It has the feature where you can lock the lid down.
That feature is so nice for when you take meals to potlucks or need to transport the meal somewhere.
Now if you want to save yourself even more time then I really recommend these Crockpot liners. They make clean up a breeze.
Instead of scrubbing and washing the pot, you can just toss the liner. It is practically no clean up.

Tip for slow cooker chicken stew:
This recipe like many calls for diced onions. Another time saving tip is to use a small food chopper or food processor to quickly and easily chop the onions.
If you do not have one of these, I highly recommend them. They are such a time saver and you can get the veggies really fine if you have children that are picky.
I usually just chop the entire vegetable and freeze what I don’t need. It’s so nice to be able to just take the diced onion out of the freezer for recipes.
This is how I meal prep. It’s so quick and easy and helps get dinner on the table fast.

Hello! Thankyou For the recipe. I add more bay leaves and garlic but that’s because I love that stuff. I made this for my boyfriend’s family and they say it’s the best they’ve had. One
Question for you though,if you put the chicken in to cook the entire time then at one point you say shred the chicken and put it back in or you just supposed to fish out all the chicken and shred it and then put it back in my missing something. Thank you!
