Easy Low Carb Pizza Chicken Bake:

Everyone is raving about the Keto lifestyle. If you miss being able to enjoy pizza, then you are going to love this easy pizza low carb chicken bake. My family raves at how good this recipe is and I love it because it is low carb.

Another one of my favorite keto low carb recipes is Crock Pot Low Carb Pizza Casserole Recipe. My family loves pizza and they could eat every night. So when I make this recipe everyone is happy.

We love recipes that have easy ingredients but can still fit in a low carb lifestyle and that are gluten free too.

Keto Pizza Chicken Recipe is family friendly:

I have notice that it is very hard to eat Italian food when you are trying to do low carb. My kids are always wanting pizza for dinner so I compromised with them and made this keto friendly meal.

With the pizza sauce, cheese and pepperoni it quickly became one of their favorite meals. This meal is pure comfort food and will fix any cravings that you have for Italian food.

Since my family loves pizza so much, I typically will have all the ingredients to make this dinner. Especially on the nights I don’t want to cook, I can easily throw this dinner together with a salad and we have a complete meal.

Let’s make this Easy Pizza Chicken!

This recipe is so tasty no one will miss the carbs.

Ingredients for Keto chicken recipe:

  • Chicken Breasts – You can also chicken thighs.
  • Salt and Pepper
  • PepperonisRegular Pepperonis or Turkey Pepperonis will work with this recipe.
  • Tomato Sauce – Marinara sauce also works great with this recipe.
  • Onion
  • Diced Tomatoes, 15 oz
  • Garlic Salt (or can use garlic powder)
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Italian Seasoning

How to make Keto Pizza Chicken:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and spray a 9X13 casserole dish with non stick cooking spray.  
  • Lay the chicken breasts out evenly in the baking pan and top with the onions.  I will also drizzle a little olive oil on top of the chicken.
  • Then in a small bowl, stir together the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, garlic salt, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.  
  • Pour the mixture over the chicken in the baking pan.

  • Then bake it for 25-30 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.  
  • Then top with the shredded mozzarella cheese and the sliced pepperonis.  You can even sprinkle some parmesan cheese on top.
  • Bake for 5 more minutes in the oven to melt the cheese.  
  • Let the chicken set for 5-10 minutes and then serve warm.  Enjoy! 

Tips for making Easy Pizza Chicken:

I use a small food chopper or processor to quickly and easily chop the onion. You can also add green pepper if you prefer. If you do not have one of these, I highly recommend them. They are such a time saver.

I usually just chop the entire vegetable and freeze what I don’t need. It’s so nice to be able to just take diced onion or bell peppers out of the freezer for recipes.
