This recipe is so tasty no one will miss the carbs.

Ingredients for Keto chicken recipe:

  • Chicken Breasts
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Pepperonis
  • Tomato Sauce
  • Onion
  • Diced Tomatoes, 15 oz
  • Garlic Salt (or can use garlic powder)
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Italian Seasoning

How to make Pizza Chicken Keto recipe:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and spray a 9X13 baking pan with non stick cooking spray.  
  • Lay the chicken breasts out evenly in the baking pan and top with the onions.  
  • Then in a small bowl, stir together the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, garlic salt, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.  
  • Pour the mixture over the chicken in the baking pan.  Then bake it for 25-30 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.  
  • Then top with the shredded mozzarella cheese and the sliced pepperonis.  
  • Bake for 5 more minutes in the oven to melt the cheese.  
  • Let the chicken set for 5-10 minutes and then serve warm.  Enjoy! 

Tips for making Easy Pizza Chicken:

I use a small food chopper or processor to quickly and easily chop the onion. You can also add green pepper if you prefer.

If you do not have one of these, I highly recommend them. They are such a time saver.

I usually just chop the entire vegetable and freeze what I don’t need. It’s so nice to be able to just take diced onion or bell peppers out of the freezer for recipes.

*You can easily add your favorite pizza toppings to this pizza chicken recipe.  I love adding green peppers, black olives, ground sausage or hamburger as well. 
*Refrigerate the leftovers in an air tight container for up to 5 days.
