Recipe Tips

  • Cooking Chicken – Use an instant-read meat thermometer to make sure that the chicken is cooked through.  For best results, cook chicken about the same size so it cooks about the same time.
  • Good Butter – Since this is the star of the recipe, use good butter for a rich, creamy and flavorful sauce.
  • Lower heat for the Sauce – Prevents honey from burning.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Type of Skillet is Best to Cook this Chicken Recipe?

We recommend using a cast iron skillet for the best golden brown texture on the chicken. But you can also use any type of skillet that you prefer.

How to Store Leftovers

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days in the refrigerator.

Can I Make Creamy?

Yes! Just add a splash of heavy creamy for a creamy texture. We like to make extra as the butter sauce would be delicious served over potatoes or rice.
