Mornings can be really hectic around here and we need simple but delicious ideas for breakfast. The kids get tired of cereal and a box does not last long around here. That really adds up!
I started making this easy fruit and yogurt parfait and everyone loved it! It really is so easy because you can make a bunch of these in advance.
This is one less thing to worry about on mornings you are trying to get out the door. Plus, if you need to take it with you, this is very portable.
Are yogurt parfaits healthy?
Yes, they are! I like to use Greek yogurt for even more protein. The parfaits have the perfect combination of ingredients for the best breakfast.
What is parfait made of?

Ingredients for easy yogurt parfait:
- plain yogurt
- fresh strawberries
- honey
- fresh blueberries
- fresh raspberries
- granola
How to make fruit and yogurt parfait recipe:
First, stir in the honey with the plain yogurt.
Spoon yogurt into each of the 6 jars.
Slice the strawberries into slices. Place one strawberry, sliced, into each mason jar.
Take 3/4 cup of raspberries and 3/4 cup blueberries and divide them equally among the jars.
Spoon more yogurt on top. Top with the remaining strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.
Spoon 1/4 cup granola on each yogurt parfait.
Tips for yogurt parfait recipe:
If I am making these in advance, I leave the granola off. It will get soggy so it is easy to just add the granola right before eating.
However, if I am eating the parfait right away, it’s fine to go ahead and put the granola layers.

We love making yogurt parfaits for a healthy breakfast. The drizzle of honey give the plain yogurt the perfect amount of sweetness.
You can also use vanilla yogurt to mix with the fruit and granola. My kids think this is the perfect breakfast and we all really enjoy it.
The mason jars make it so convenient and we meal prep a bunch of these at the beginning of the week. It is fun to let the kids help and everyone can form an assembly line.
Someone can add the creamy yogurt, another person can add the fresh fruit or fresh berries and someone else can top with granola. Let the kids help for lots of sweet memories.
Sometimes, if we are feeling indulgent, I will add chocolate chips. Yum!
