Slow Cooker chicken and gravy is the perfect meal to make for a delicious meal. It only requires a few ingredients and the results a creamy, full of flavor chicken recipe.
I made this and I added a bag of frozen mixed vegetables, I did not shred the chicken, served the gravy and vegetables over mashed potatoes. Made a can of Pillsbury flaky biscuits to go with it. This is my husband new favorite meal.

How to Make Chicken and Gravy in the Crockpot

Step 1 – Place all the ingredients in the crock pot.

Step 2 – Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.

Step 3 – Shred the chicken.

Step 4 – Stir the shredded chicken into the sauce in the crock pot.
Step 5 – Serve over mashed potatoes and enjoy.

Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds skinless boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 can Cream of chicken soup
- 1 pkg Chicken Gravy Mix (0.87 oz)
- 1 teaspoon pepper

Instructions
- Place 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts in the crockpot. In a bowl, whisk together 1 cup chicken broth, 1 can cream of chicken soup, and 1 package chicken gravy mix until smooth. Pour the mixture over the chicken and sprinkle 1 teaspoon pepper on top.
- Cook on low for 8 hours.
- Shred the chicken and stir to combine.
- Serve over mashed potatoes.

- Chicken – This recipe works great with skinless chicken breasts but you can also use chicken thighs.
- Seasoning – Feel free to change the seasoning to what you prefer. We usually start with about ¼ teaspoon and add more to taste. Here are some of our favorite additions – garlic powder, thyme, rosemary or oregano.
- Veggies – This is a great slow cooker recipe to add in vegetables to cook with the chicken and gravy. Add in peas, carrots or potatoes. Make sure to cut about the same size so they cook evenly.
- Chicken – You can put your chicken in the slow cooker frozen or thaw.
- Cooking time – Cooking time will vary based on your slow cooker and the size of your chicken.
- Shredding Chicken – Once the chicken is cooked it is ready to be shredded. You can shred with two forks or learn how to shred with a mixer.
