It’s the kind of meal I turn to when I don’t want to fuss with dinner but still want something everyone will devour. Plus, it’s incredibly versatile we love to pile it onto sandwiches, spoon it over rice, or even use it for tacos!

You don’t say when to put in the garlic. I put it in with the other ingrediants
I’m so sorry about that. Yes, I added in the garlic with the other ingredients in the crock pot at the beginning of the cooking time.
Made this today. It is so good! Will definitely be making this again

I just saw this recipe and was so excited. My two favorite things are Bbq sauce and Diet Dr Pepper. Can I use diet soda? I haven’t used my crockpot in awhile but will definitely try this soon!
Yes, diet coke would be delicious in this recipe too. Any dark color soda would work great!
This was so amazing! We did dinner on buns and had leftovers for taters! Added to the Dinner Plans!
The Dr. Pepper chicken turned out delicious. I’m definitely saving this recipe to make in the future. The first time I made it, I used a sweet vidalia onion bbq sauce, which made the dish extra sweet (which my family likes). For a more traditional taste, I would stick with a traditional bbq sauce.
