How to Make Korean BBQ Chicken
Step 1 – Whisk together all the sauce ingredients in a medium saucepan until well combined. Heat the mixture over medium high heat and bring the mixture to a boil. Heat the mixture for 3-4 minutes until the mixture is cooked through and thickened.
Step 2 – Remove from the heat and divide the sauce evenly into 2 bowls.
Step 3 – Preheat the grill to 350 degrees F or medium heat. Gently brush the grates of the grill with the oil to prevent the chicken from sticking.
Step 4 – Brush the sauce from one of the bowls all over the chicken breasts. Place the chicken on the grill. Cook for 5-7 minutes per size until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
- Step 5 – Remove the chicken from the grill, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes.
- Step 6 – Brush the remaining Korean BBQ sauce on the chicken (heavily coating both sides).
