What to Serve with Marry Me Butter Beans?

Marry Me Butter Beans is great served straight from the large pot but we often times serve over Best Mashed Potatoes, Instant pot White Rice Recipe or any type of pasta.

We even like to serve alongside Roasted Red Potatoes or a green salad. Make sure to make some Olive Garden Breadsticks Recipe to make sure you get every last drop of the sauce.

A ladle holds a creamy bean and vegetable soup with canned beans, spinach, and sun-dried tomatoes over a pot of the same soup.

FAQ’s

Can I Use Dried Beans instead of Canned?

Yes, you can make this dish with dried beans but you will need to cook them first before making Marry Me Butter Beans. We like using canned beans for the convenience and you can easily find them in the canned vegetable section.

Can I Use Other Types of Beans?

Yes, you can make this dish with Cannellini, Great Northern, or Chickpeas. It is possible using other types of beans that the texture might change. But it will still be delicious.

Can I Make Dairy Free?

Yes! Substitute the heavy cream with full-fat coconut milk or coconut cream and use your favorite dairy free cheese.

Storage and Reheating Tips

  • Fridge – Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days in the refrigerator.
  • Freeze – We do not recommend freezing this soup because of the heavy cream that is added. The texture will change when you reheat as it may separate.
  • Reheat – Reheat the leftovers in the microwave or on the stovetop over medium heat.
