- Step 9 – Remove the chicken from the oven, let it rest for 5 minutes and then garnish with chopped parsley and it’s ready to serve and enjoy!
Recipe Tips
- Type of Parmesan Cheese – Make sure to use grated parmesan cheese and not shredded parmesan cheese as shredded parmesan cheese will not stick to the chicken breasts.
- Prepare Chicken – To filet the chicken breasts, place the chicken breast flat on a cutting board, then hold it steady with one hand and use a sharp knife to slice it horizontally into two even pieces. Keep the knife parallel to the board and use a gentle sawing motion for control.
- Baking Sheet – You may need an additional baking sheet based on the size of the chicken that you use for this recipe. Make sure to line with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
- Make Chicken Golden Brown – If the chicken is not browning toward the end of the cooking time, you can broil the chicken breasts for 2-4 minutes to brown the outside of the chicken as well.
