Ok so yesterday I gave you three tips to help you save money and time on tailgate food for your next game day party. Today I wanted to share with you a quick and easy game day recipe using one of my tips – an easy burger sliders recipe.
This recipe is crazy easy but oh so good. First, I used my first tip by buying pre cooked food – you will need a package of Ball Park® Flamed Grilled patties.
What you need:
- one package Ball Park® Flamed Grilled patties (located at Walmart in frozen section)
- shredded cheddar cheese (8 oz package)
- Kings Hawaiian rolls
Easy to make Burger Sliders Recipe:
We bought these at our local Walmart and to be honest – I was quite shocked at how good these were. My whole family raved about how much flavor they had. They are packed with flavor and they came out of the oven juicy and delicious.
I placed mine on a cooke sheet lined with foil. In 10 minutes your patties are heated up and ready to devour. Now you can also heat them up in the microwave but since I was making these for a crowd it was much easier to heat them in the oven.
Once cooked, you will cut them into quarters. Cut hem in half and then in half again. Basically you are going to get two burger sliders out of each patty. 6 patties will make 12 sliders. By the way, if you need knives, then make sure you check Amazon here – several are on sale for an awesome price.
Take one small roll (we used Hawaiian rolls – by the way I have a homemade recipe here) but you can use any small rolls.Top with your favorite cheese.
Then Place the other quarter on top and add more cheese. Add your top and your burger slider is complete.
You can place these back in the warm oven to get the cheese all gooey and delicious but ours naturally started melting from the heat of the patties. We served it with our homemade ketchup and our homemade barbecue sauce for people to add to their sliders. They were a hit and, to be honest, this is going on our regular dinner routine. The kids just love this fun twist on a regular burger.
For your next game day, make sure you try this easy Burger Sliders recipe – I think your family will love them.
