Variations Ideas:

  • Oil – When frying these breaded green beans, you want to use a high smoke point oil. You can cook the green beans in peanut oil, canola oil, olive oil, or avocado oil.
  • Seasoning – To change the flavor of the green beans feel free to use different seasoning. Add in garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper and cloves garlic.

Step by Step Instructions: 

  • Step 1 – Rinse the green beans thoroughly and remove any stems from the green beans.  Pat them dry with a paper towel.

Step 2 – You will need 3 small bowls. Place flour in one bowl, eggs and milk in a second bowl (beat them together) and then the Panko crumbs, salt and paprika in a third bowl.

Step 3 – Dredge the green beans in the egg mixture, then coat the green beans in the flour. Then dip them back into the egg mixture and then in the bread crumb mixture. Place on a separate plate until ready to fry. Continue to do this until all of the green beans have been coated.

Step 4 – Add oil to a small saucepan. Place the coated green beans in the oil and fry on each side until they are golden brown. I cooked mine for approximately 2-3 minutes per side.

Step 5 – Then transfer the fried green beans to a plate lined with a paper towel. Allow them to cool (they will be hot). You can top them with salt to keep them crisp at this time. Then serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy! 

Recipe Tips:

  • Green Beans – For best results, we recommend using fresh string beans for this recipe.
  • Deep Frying Green Beans – You may have to work in batches when frying the green beans. It will depend on the size of your pot.
  • Hot Oil – Before frying the green beans, make sure the oil is hot. It is best fry the green beans over medium-high heat.

Instructions
