Recipe Tips

  • Slicing Beef – It’s very important to cut the beef against the grain so that it’s tender when cooked in this recipe. Make sure it is about the same size so it cooks evenly. We like to cut in about 1 inch pieces.
  • Cooking – We like to cook the veggies and steak over medium high heat for the best sear and tender veggies.
  • Combining Sauce Ingredients – Make sure the sauce ingredients are completely combined. We like to use a whisk to make sure the cornstarch mixed together for the best consistency.

Variations Ideas

  • Spicy – Add a kick of flavor by adding ½ tsp of red pepper flakes, hot sauce or more black pepper.
  • Vegetables – Feel free to add in or swap our veggies to what you prefer. We love to add in slice mushrooms, potatoes, tomatoes, chopped broccoli and carrots. We often times we use what we use leftover veggies.
  • Low Carb – Swap the sugar with monk fruit and serve this dish over Cauliflower Rice for a low carb variations.

Serving Recommendations

Serve the leftovers over Jasmine Rice Recipe, Instant pot White Rice Recipe or Microwave Brown Rice. It is even delicious served over Homemade Egg Noodles Recipe or Easy Zucchini Noodles Recipe.

I will often times make Air Fryer Broccoli or Air Fryer Asparagus just to add more veggies for an easy side dish.
