- Bone-In Pork Chops – Choose Pork Chops about 1 inch thick. You can also use boneless pork chops or pork loin chops
- Olive Oil – You use higher smoke point oil such as canola oil or vegetable oil
- Butter – We used Unsalted Butter

How to Make Pork Chops in the Skillet
Step 1 – In a small bowl, mix together the dried rosemary, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Step 2 – Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels and rub the spice mixture all over the dry pork chops.
Step 3 – Place the flour on a plate and lightly dredge each pork chop, shaking off excess.
Step 4 – Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 5 – Once hot, add the pork chops and crushed garlic cloves to the skillet.
Step 6 – Cook for 5-6 minutes on the first side until golden brown and crispy. Flip the chops, add the remaining butter, and cook for another 4-5 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Step 7 – Baste the chops with the pan juices during the last minute of cooking.
- Step 8 – Remove pork chops and let rest for 3 minutes before serving.
- Step 9 – Discard the garlic cloves and drizzle any remaining pan juices over the chops.
