Being a busy mom of 8, we eat a lot of chicken recipes. Grilled chicken is our favorite way to cook chicken and using this curry marinade makes the chicken even better.

I love making homemade marinades because it is easy to control the ingredients and just makes the meat taste better. Why We Love This Recipe

We love adding this curry marinade to our chicken because of how flavorful the chicken gets. The marinade keeps the chicken from drying out, helps to keep it tender and allows the chicken to pack in the juices.

You will be amazed how easy it is to marinade chicken and this is one recipe that my kids will clean their plate.

Variations Ideas

  • Chicken – We usually grill boneless skinless chicken breasts, but you can also use skinless chicken thighs or chicken tenders.
  • Spices – Making your homemade marinade, you can easily change the spice blend. Here are some suggestions that blend perfectly with the curry powder – red chili powder, turmeric powder, garlic, cumin and fresh ginger.
  • Yogurt – You can substitute the coconut milk with yogurt if you prefer.
