Just combine the water and cornstarch together in a small bowl. Once you have it mixed together, add it to the crock pot for the last hour of the cook time.

I made this today and was worried at first that it would taste like A1 steak sauce soup, but it totally did not. It was so good and filling. A perfect autumn meal. I will definitely make this again. I put a little pepper in it, but that’s the only thing I did differently.

I followed this recipe exactly and my potatoes were not done. I set my crock pot to low for 7.5 hours. I give 4 stars because of the wonderful flavor, but I am sad about the potatoes. They were chopped into small perfect sizes
