Instructions

For the Patties:

  • Preheat a grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees Fahrenheit).
  • Form the ground beef into 6 even patties and season them with the taco seasoning.
  • Place on the grill over direct heat and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until the patties reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F. 
  • Place the slices of cheese on the patties for the last minute of the cook time to melt the cheese. Remove the patties from the grill.

For Serving:

  • Mix together the Avocado Pico De Gallo ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Place each of the patties on a bun and top with the avocado pico de gallo. Serve immediately while warm and enjoy!

    Delicious! I don’t know how I’ve never thought about making a taco burger. We love anything taco in this house. We added some Baja sauce on the bun to add a little zing. Definitely adding this recipe to my favorites!
