Ingredients for crockpot steak fajitas:
- round steak
- red bell pepper
- green pepper
- taco seasoning (We make homemade taco seasoning,)
I told you it was very simple! You only need just a few easy ingredients to make this fabulous dinner for your family.
You can also use skirt steak or flank steak. I often use what is on sale. Sometimes, I also add diced tomatoes to the mixture for even more delicious flavor.
How to make slow cooker steak fajitas:
Combine everything in your slow cooker. I used a 6 quart crock pot but you can use what you have.
We used homemade taco seasoning but you can also use fajita seasoning.
Cove and cook on low and come home to dinner ready to enjoy! This recipe is so very easy!
Note- If you prefer your bell peppers a little more crunchy, wait to add them until about 2 hours before dinner is ready. Now if you are not picky about your peppers, you can add them in the morning like above.
However, I like the peppers a little more firm which is why I wait to add them halfway through the cooking time.

Crock pot Steak Fajitas
- Place sliced steak, salsa, and taco seasoning in the crock pot.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the steak is tender.
- Add in the sliced peppers and onions into the crock pot for the last hour of the cooking time if cooking or low or 30 minutes if cooking on high.
- Cook until the veggies are the tenderness that you desire.
